happney65: Government don't need to buy meter and for anybody and nobody should buy meter, transformers or electric pole for themselves either. If completely privatize these companies without corruption, then the company should live up to there responsibility. Afterall, all these equipment remains their property. |

Re: NERC Approves N21bn For Procurement Of Electricity Meters At Zero Cost by omolola12345(m): 4:45am On Jun 23 |
Do not let us deceive ourselves, those that have been given that their fake bills with the accumulation of a lot money must clear their debt before they can be given the prepaid meter but those that just wanted to register for the first time may not pay any money but I did not trust the PHCN guys. If you don't want to give them the money your meter will be delayed. |

Re: NERC Approves N21bn For Procurement Of Electricity Meters At Zero Cost by BALLOSKI: 10:23am On Jun 23 |
happney65:The sector is privatized already. Besides, metering is to curb estimated billing, it's not something the DISCOs actually like. |
Re: NERC Approves N21bn For Procurement Of Electricity Meters At Zero Cost by happney65: 10:38am On Jun 23 |
BALLOSKI: It is NOT. The one they did is fake. If it was truly privatized, communities won't be the one fixing transformers. Buying poles etc. they should be the one doing that. Which country in the world do you know that it is communities that buy transformers? Or is it communities that fix telecommunications masts? Abeg |
