I'm seriously tempted to believe you despite wishing the CRIMINAL MURDERERS were TRULY APPREHENDED, but because i see a GAPING HOLE in this narration.

It is either the pistol failed to operate or there was no bullet because I can't see how robbers armed with only knives could overpower someone with a pistol.

It is not as if they just appeared inside his apartment and overpowered him, no they must have struggled to break the door and probably the protector also and that would have afforded the victim enough time to load his gun and take position.

What he needed to do was to fire any idiot that was first to enter the house, just stay calm hold your rifle firmly and open first on any moving object that tries to gain entrance,.

Especially the fact that he has been targeted twice previously.

I remembered that few weeks after this burst, the NDLEA boss visited one 'big-man' in Lagos, after that visitation the case died. This will remain an indelible stain to Mr. NDLEA boss white kaftan with matching cap.
