A cousin of mine who has stayed in Abuja for most part of life came to Lagos and stayed just two months and ram back to Abj and concluded that only mad people are in Lagos.

I lived in Lagos for about 15 months, worst time of my life. That place is truly bedlam.

Lived in Ogun for about 5yrs, terrible roads

Lived in Ibadan for 4yrs, absolutely love it. Ibadan is peaceful and orderly.

Anyone who has traveled out of Nigeria knows that Lagos is not top 100 best cities by any parameter.
So when you see a ranking, it makes sense to look out for the credibility of the organization conducting it.

This is the second time Lagos is featuring in this ladder of the worst liveable cities in the world but some demented people will be using same Lagos as yardstick to gauge other cities.
Lagos state have not measured to the taste it ought to be because of leadership issue. Lagos is still a glorified city, still lacking in many attentions.

In the news you read, where was it stated that Lagos was the 4th worst liveable city in the world? The news did not say the cities are arranged according to prevalence or how they are worse. This is how some of you fail in an exam.
The news said ten worst liveable cities in the world. Come to think of it, the author never put grading scale on each city but you just concluded because you saw Lagos at number 4, meaning it is number 4 worst liveable city in the world. O ga o.

Oh gosh! after the author included the indicators considered you went haywire pointing finger on some innocent cities in Nigeria and now comparing them to Lagos for no reason.
Mr. Man, the author is not considering wealth generation but liveability and the criteria used as included are:
Liveability indicators
1 — 🥷Stability
2 — 🏥Healthcare
3 — 🪘Culture & Environment
4 — 📚Education
5 — 🚧Infrastructure
So, doing self assessment defeats common sense and simple knowledge of education.
No single city in Nigeria that is as cluster as Lagos and this has not helped the state. The only city where the citizens still living permanently in slums, ghetto and ashanti and no direct accessibility to social amenities. Funnily you still see people living under bridges and some funny places but that is not applicable in cities you mentioned.

You guys should try and be calming down, they are not talking of wealth of the state but liveability of the inhabitants. Seat down and think before jumping into comment section and later disgrace your education.

I don't just know what is wrong with some of you. Just ordinary piece of information on the liveability of cities, you people have turned it to sectional debate and argument while the author was specific about the criteria considered.
Well, I know many of you have conditioned your minds to think Lagos is the alpha and Omega of all cities as far as Nigeria state is concerned. The point in focus says liveability and not wealth generation.
As far as Nigeria is concern, Lagos is still the only city where citizens still live under bridges, markets, slums, ghetto, asantis and some funny places without accessibility to various social amenities. Even houses are compacted and no breathing space. Hardly can you see football field in a dwelling place in Lagos, children are seen playing football on the main road for their recreation exercise. These are issues in consideration when they talk about liveability.
Everything issue should not turn to ethnic and sectional gymnastics. I think this is the second time such report have come out and Lagos included and Lagos will always be there because of the nature of the setting of Lagos city, non availability of space.
You guys should try and be calming down and don't turn everything to ethnic joke.
