Abeg leave Etiti for Ekiti. We have not even govern properly the 36 +1 state we have with lots of looting here and there, and we want to add more. |

Augustine2244: Who told you it's mission impossible? Which indigenes usually vote yes when they want to create new states? It's the govt that decides with little input from some privileged leaders. E.g. No Warri man believed that Asaba and Warri would be in the same state talk less Asaba being the capital of Delta. But today, what has happened? Both Warri and Asaba are in Delta state moreso, Asaba is the capital and everyone is happy together, understand? |

The LGAs forming this one makes more sense than Orlu state just that there might be sound clash in pronunciation as both Ekiti and Etiti are the same word in Igbo and means the same thing -center or central. This is better than both Orlu and Anioma. -Anioma deserves to be a state on their own irrespective of whatever nonsense geopolitical zone they're called so the creation shouldn't be imposed on southeast. Southeast already has a few state proposals over the years and are not reliant on Anioma for 6th state. -Orlu is an already existing LGA/zone so I don't know how they expect Anambara people like Uli, Ihiala who are within the same or greater calibre than Orlu in terms of development or political personalities to come under a state called Orlu with the same Orlu as capital. That is madness and a perceived continuation of Orlu's current marginalisation of other zones in the governing of Imo state. -Just like this proposed Etiti state, A new or neutral name like Urasi state (culled from Urasi river that runs across the area) should be adopted instead of Orlu. -Egbema (and even Oguta) people and their oil has absolutely nothing to do with Orlu people so they should be left alone in Imo or Rivers state. |

They can create new state where there is no land but they cannot advocate for the referendum to carry their wahala and give us peace. Unserious people |
