gidgiddy: If the entire South is united and resolute over it then they will have no choice. The Buhari Government did not want Amotekun to exist either but SW Governors forged ahead bullishly using their State houses of assembly to birth the force. The thing with you Igbos is that it is your way or the highway. Radicalism, dogmatic indoctrination and extremism. Otherwise Igbos like you should get involved in politics and lean progressively to get things done instead of rigidly shouting Biafra for 6 decades now and still no closer to gaining it . Igbos are right wingers politically (see image below) into the natural defence of private wealth acquisition, capitalism and liberalised free markets hence your desire to be in every corner of every nation trading and accumulating wealth. Why then not accept that your societal and political belief system, allied with how you wish to live and prosper, is at odd with your segregationsist Biafra noise and must thus be calibrated to align with your actual reality? It is your rigidity and blind hatred of others giving opportunists like Kanu and Ekpa the freedom to hijack the commonsense of Igbos for their own agenda. If you people are sincere then work for regional autonomy we have hosted before and the constitution does not outlaw outright like secession you are myopically obsessed with. You Igbos are now showing how PTSD associated with a longstanding fight for a cause can lead to loss of focus that blinds you from noting things have changed and approach must change also. Fighting for Biafra is redundant because the real nature of how Igbos live, migrate and assimilate outside the SE today makes a mockery of your continued insistence you want your own independent nation. Work for what is real, up to date and achievable without putting millions of Igbos outside ala Igbo in trouble and in harm's way. 1 Like

WizardOfNG: Your convoluted ranting is a testament to your inability to grasp basic political realities and your desperate need to scapegoat an entire ethnic group for your own intellectual shortcomings. Firstly, the notion that the entire South is united over anything is laughable. Your simplistic view fails to recognize the diverse and often conflicting interests within the region. But let's entertain your fantasy for a moment—if unity is what you preach, then why single out the Igbos as radical and dogmatic? It's clear you’re projecting your own biases and insecurities onto an entire people. Your understanding of Amotekun and its implementation is as shallow as your grasp of political dynamics. The success of Amotekun was not about bulldozing through but about strategic political maneuvering—something you clearly lack the comprehension to appreciate. As for your absurd accusations of Igbos being right-wing extremists, your logic is as twisted as your reasoning. The desire for economic prosperity and participation in global markets does not preclude a desire for self-determination. Your attempt to paint Igbos as hypocrites for wanting Biafra while being successful traders is not only ignorant but also shows a complete lack of understanding of what drives movements for autonomy. Your suggestion that Igbos blindly follow opportunists like Kanu and Ekpa is a laughable oversimplification. The fight for Biafra is rooted in deep-seated grievances and historical injustices, something you’re evidently too narrow-minded to comprehend. Instead of dismissing an entire movement, maybe try understanding its origins and the legitimate concerns that fuel it. Telling Igbos to work for regional autonomy while simultaneously mocking their struggle for Biafra is peak hypocrisy. You can’t dictate the terms of someone else’s liberation struggle based on your own limited worldview. Your so-called advice is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to maintain the status quo while pretending to offer a solution. Your ramblings about PTSD and loss of focus are both insulting and misguided. The fight for Biafra is far from redundant; it’s a response to ongoing marginalization and systemic injustice. If you truly believe that working within the existing political framework is the answer, perhaps you should take your own advice and stop whining about the supposed radicalism of others. In summary, your entire argument is a mishmash of contradictions, baseless accusations, and a fundamental lack of understanding of the issues at hand. It’s high time you educated yourself and stopped projecting your ignorance and prejudice onto others. |

WizardOfNG: You people still don't get it. Don't you know you have to change the constitution of Nigeria before you can restructure Nigeria into Regions? Do you know what the constitution says must be done to change the constitution? You need two thirds majority vote in not only the upper and lower houses, but you need another two third majority in the state houses of at least 24 states out of 36. With the core Noth controlling over 40% of the upper and lower houses about 14 states, how will you get Region's if they don't agree? Region's are never coming back. The best thing is for everyone to go their way and restructure themselves the way they like, the union of Nigeria is, and has been a disaster Million of Nigerians are in USA, Canada UK and Europe, but you already have Nigeria But in your mind, millions of Igbos living all over Nigeria makes mockery of Biafra? Isn't that laughable? |

discusant: The military kill bandits daily. Boko haram are being killed steadily. If the army descend on IPOB with all the ammunitions that are using for bandits and Boko Haram, they would have level down that tiny region where iPOB operate. Kill them all. Both IPOB, Boko haram, Fulani bandits, and alll. 1 Like |

Christlike01: It is not about werey, it is the reality that would happen to you, if you continue to tow that path of ethnic hatred and division, you will face what NK is facing now, yours will even be worse because you are a nobody and there are no security risks if they decide to dispatch you to the great beyond, so be very careful with how you incite hatred. |
