You have veered off into something else
Can you explain the impeachment of Femi Pedro by Tinubu and why it stood

That was in 2007 I believe, and I believe it was later reversed by the Lagos State assembly. If it was pursued fully in the courts (federal) like he was already doing, I am certain his impeachment would have been nullified.

So we cannot say it stood.

It stood. It was not reversed. He was later pardoned. He pursued the case in a Lagos High Court and it was dismissed.

For someone who goes about showing Throwback of others, you seem not to be faring better

Did he pursue it further and get a final judicial conclusion?

No!

Because he opted for a political solution to an impeachment that was itself political.

My position has not changed on this matter regardless of the state or the politicians involved.

Any legal pursuit need to be taken away from the dictatorial influence of the state Governor, so a state court will not just cut it.

Even if they get appeal in federal high court in benin as usual but in less than one week, the supreme court will affirm Shaibu as deputy governor. Head or tail, he will resume.
be deceiving yourself with lies and propaganda here. Appeal Court of justice will set aside the kangaroo ruling of the federal high court judgement here. Edo state house of Assembly have the right to impeach a siting governor or deputy governor in the state

So I have given you two situations of impeachment of deputy gov by their Oga.

Why do you now support Wike against Fubara? Ain't that hypocrisy?

Have you given proof of me supporting any impeachment of any Governor or Deputy as an abuse of democratic process?

I support that they keep the harmony however way possible, else Fubara should forget about a 2nd term ticket with a PDP that Wike controls.

The irony is those who considered Fubara an illegitimate Governor, but are now fully praising him to slight Wike who is considered a more dangerous political enemy.

And we are back to how the legend of wicked Wike was created to slight Amaechi because he was not in the good books of President Jonathan and the First Lady.

Amaechi wanted to be an independent Governor that ran his state without the influence of Abuja, but Patience Jonathan and husband would not have that, and junior minister Wike kept using federal resources to embarrass and harass a duly elected Governor who was ultimately forced out of the then ruling party (PDP).

Who were those urging Wike on then and celebrating every abuse of federal power?

You and I know they are the same people who have now become tired of the wiked Wike they created.

Justice James Omotosho. I really do not know why I feel he is a hatchet judge. Probably it is because of the way and manner he dispenses cases that involves Wike. I have never seen Justice Omotosho given unfavorable judgement to any case Wike has interest. This is not to opined that Wike has interest Philip's case.

You're a very foolish person
Justice Omotosho gave the same judgement reinstating Asue Ighodalo as Pdp candidate and also gave this, but you are calling this a Kangaroo judgement.

I don't know the dustbin where PDP use to gather these illiterates from.
Your own foolishness stinks here Cos’ the kangaroo judgement will never stand in the rules of law. The edo state house of Assembly have the authority to impeach sitting governor and deputy governor in the state. The Appeal court of justice will set aside the federal high court judgement here. Just stay tuned in the matter of days.

I remember oshiomhole court case then, when he was removed as chairman of Apc. Appeal court rush the matter like sharwama.

I suspect so.normally, this type of cases longer up to 6-12 months before the high court rules but here, they have ruled within 2 months

The former deputy governor is only wasting his time. The kangaroo court bought judgement can not stand. A federal court does not have the power to decide what was politically motivated or not. The state house of assembly set up a panel that investigated the former deputy governor, the committee made a recommendation to the state house of assembly, base on their findings, and subsequently impeached the former deputy governor. The court dey whine am. The state government and the state assembly will appeal and drag it on until after the elections. By that time, a new government would be in place. All this nosie from Shaibu will die down.

Can't you see the speed of the case? It will be concluded before October...
Only the judiciary has the powers to determine what an offence is

So, any judge who reverses such impeachment is not out of line because both the gov and the lawmakers didn't cite political differences as the reason but trumped up charges.

The state government might still despite the fact that there's a judgement of the supreme court already cited. Appeal court would now order stay pending determination of the substantive case and then footdrag for months and it gets back to the supreme court and supreme court would now remind them of its earlier judgement and before you know it, Obaseki's tenure ends. He might not get to benefit from this judgement even though it favors him.

It serves Shuaibu right though.
