BREAKING: Protest Commences In Niger State – Shocking Developments! by obasanjonews(m): 12:39pm On Jul 29, 2024
In spite of the government's appeals, several young people have gathered on the streets of Niger State to demonstrate against Nigeria's economic difficulties.

According to OBASANJONEWS, on Monday a group of protesters took to the streets while singing songs that opposed the government.

They carried signs bearing messages such as "We've Had Enough," "Halt Policies That Oppose the People's Interests," "Our Nation Is Not a Place of Slavery," "This Suffering Is Unbearable", and more specifically, calling for the reinstatement of Fuel Subsidies.

Last week, Governor Mohammed Bago attempted to prevent protests in Niger by offering welfare packages to the residents. This was reported by OBASNAJONEWS.

He declared a wage allowance of N20,000 for civil servants in both state and local governments. Additionally, he directed the prompt distribution of 50,000 metric tonnes of assorted grains at discounted rates to alleviate prevailing economic challenges.

More information will be provided at a later time.

Protest in Niger State? This is just another circus.

What are they even protesting for? These folks need to focus on real issues instead of causing chaos.

The government should not entertain this nonsense; they should clamp down on these miscreants.

Let them understand that their actions have consequences. Niger State deserves peace, not this madness!

Who should focus on the issues? The people or the government that control the resources?

If the government you support can bring 1dollar to N400, bag of rice to N12,000, fuel to N190 etc the way they met them, there would be no protests I assure you.
