The Nigeria Police Force has withdrawn 30 inspectors and rank and file personnel attached to Very Important Personalities (VIPs) to boost its operations ahead of the planned #EndBadGovernance protests.

A memo signed by SP Anas Mohammed, S/O DOPS (Department of Operations, SHQ Owerri on July 29, 2024 with reference number AB:  4087/IMS/DOPS/SO/VOL.1/443 said the posting is in view of the upcoming nationwide protest.

The inspectors and rank and file personnel are to report at the office on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

The memo reads, “Sub.1: change of posting: The posting of the following officers have been effected/changed WEF Tuesday 30/07/2024 BY 0800HRS; to APC chairman: Inspr Orok Sunday 0803087**** & Inspr Tedei Dezeigha 090561**** to Star Arrival: Inspr Richard Kalayo  0806292**** to Fendoz: Inspr Zeruwa Nwaoba 0703720**** to Olisleek: Inspr Igbo Kizitto 0803193****

Point taken I guess it's an order they will never enforce. They won't allow private security to carry firearms like in South Africa.
