Tinubu might be tried for genocide when he steps down from power.
Over 30 civilian protesters killed.
During the time he lead a protest against Jonathan's government, nobody was killed

Not might.. he will face ICC.

They should cry for their parents and not come out to protest. Hunger is everywhere malnutrition is everywhere
But do you see underage protesting in the south. My heart bleeds for the dead. It was my prayer right from the start that nobody should lose their lives. But we will still call a spade a spade

All die na die. It is better to die fighting than to stay indoors and die. If southerners are not protesting, it is because it is not yet red for them, when situation gets out for them, they will protest - young, old, male, female.

That was the outcome of the meeting Tinubu held with the service chiefs. He instructed them to kill northerners who are still protesting without mercy.

They protested in Lagos state and his brothers were never killed. This is injustice, and it's
a deliberate attempt to depopulate the North.

Though the trigger-happy police should be fished out, dismissed and dealt with but you see this your last mumu comment can only come from a certain mumu people who reside in the eastern part of this country. Emergency lovers of the North.
To answer that last paragraph, Tinubu’s brothers in Lagos weren’t animalistic about the protest. They understood that destroying innocent ppl’s properties and livelihoods isn’t protest but sheer evil and barbarism.
Again, nothing justifies this killing but dear coward, please rest. This sudden love for North is becoming ridiculous. I’m sure you will instantly start worshipping the devil if he starts talking bad about Tinubu, your nemesis and the husband of your mother grin

Protest is an 18+ activity children are not supposed to be involved

Why do police keep shooting people who are armless and heating up an already tense situation

Why can't the police for once handle situations like people who are not drunk. What is the meaning of all these killings na

Is hunger only ment for 18+?

Bring your empty skull...

I really feel sad seeing some comments about the death of this child
I'm a student of ABU Zaria and i witness what really happened, Actually he wasnt killed in a protest,
I went to samaru market to get some foodstuff due to the fact that the curfew imposed was on a short notice
while in samaru market we started hearing shouts and traders started to lock their shops that military men were flogging people and were coming towards the market from north gate
we all started running from the market were we started hearing gunshots
this boy was killed on sight and not on any protest ground pr by stray bullet
He ran to his house when an officer opened fire to the door killing him instantly

May his Soul Rest in Peace Amen

Hmmm! RIP for the chap.

My peaceful Samaru. While a resident there, I love going to that Samaru market mostly on Fridays. At a point, it became an addiction, though I wasn't the only addict, later found out I have a partner in the act. Portable Lady, when are we leaving our base to go shop at Friday Market again?
This news brought back a nostalgia.

To a certain degree u r right..Alot of people were drooling over the comment i made " Whether it was tinubu who pulled the trigger"....There's what we call rules of engagement during any operational duty , read, research and then come back for further discuss

He is the commander in chief of the armed forces!!!
Every action or inaction by members of the armed forces is by extension his own doings!!

A single order from him to all the armed forces officers not to pull the trigger at protesters will be obeyed no matter what!!

By the way, why do security operatives carry live ammunition to a protest ground, what happens to rubber bullet and teargas sinister??

Have you heard that the UK police have fired at any protesters in the UK despite the protest and obvious looting happening in UK?!

Una go just dey here dey defend rubbish

Curfews can be overruled if they violate your right as a citizen particularly your right to protest. Yes, your governors instituting curfews as a weapon to keep you from protesting is against the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land which is above your courts and your Governors. Note this, please! undecided
So the government should fold it's hands and allow criminals loot people's shop in the name of protest?

Do criminals not loot shops even when all are asleep? Abeg, make we hear word o'jare! Criminal elements will always exist in a society whether there is a protest or not, whether curfew or not. That is what law enforcement is there for. To catch the criminals; not use the mandate handed the government by the citizenry to bully innocent people. undecided
