Everywhere in the world, they will confirm how educated Nigerians are. But what do they do with the education?

Use it to turn the richest country in Africa into abject Poverty stricken people after foreign oil income!

Lee kwua yew Singapores late former prime minister made this statement;

Common sense -open mind

It's not about getting degrees but having the common sense and open mind to turn into positivity and profit yielding act

I highly doubt this is even true.

In order to arrive at this conclusion, he would have to take census of the total number of first class graduates in every branch of every denomination, including Deeper Life, Christ Embassy, RCCG, Winners etc. Not just in Lagos alone but in all the 36 states and FCT. Not just the pentecostals alone but also Catholics, Baptists, Anglicans, Lutherans etc.

I don't think someone who's supposedly that educated should be making such broad statements without facts to back them up.
Let them also come out with their figures and awards of this magnitude, then, Dr. Olukoya's become invalid, if not, his statement becomes valid

Stop making the mistake of thinking every one who comments on Nairaland are graduates.

How sure are you the guy you quoted is still not trying to combine NECO and WAEC results together to gain admission into a College of Education?

D truth has surfaced, the idiot is trying to combine NECO & WAEC to gain admission too a college of education. MUGUS

Where are they now? If we have those high numbers of first class and it is not translating to creativity and societal development then....
How have you as a citizen contributed to the development of Nigeria, you don't have to be a first class graduate to do that. Tell use your own contributions.

Some of these pastors are funny grin

So bagging a first class is now a function of the denomination you attend?

I guess it's a contest among Pentecostal churches in Nigeria because the pastor wasn't even born yet when Catholics started bagging first class 😂
I swear down! 😂

By the time Catholics even count the number of first class graduates in a year, their numbers will be negligible. as in it may not even make 2% 🤣🤣🤣

Why are you people so negative. The man is celebrating his members you're here ranting. Why not tell your Catholic father to reward Catholic students who graduate with first class.

If it is leadership why is everybody in the church not having first class? Or are you telling me that there are no second class and third class graduates in that same church?
Are you telling me that if those first class graduates leave for another church where the pastor didn't go to school they wouldn't be able to make first class?
Please I need answers.

What you know nothing about, ask and you”ll get answers.

If you followed Dr. Olukoya’s remarks on the genesis of the awards, you’d be better informed about it all.

I advise you to read again and again for clarity.

That's not how facts work. You can't just come out and claim something and then assume it's valid because no one else has the time to respond to you.
