Icon2024:
NNPC has shortlisted candidates for interview already and here Chevron hasn't even send interview invitation or s regret mail to those not successful so they can move on

NNPC takes over 600 trainees across each branch. It is much easier to find candidates

Those who didn't write essay test should know where they stand ... NNPC send at least has reached out to those they are not progressing

i applied for financial analyst role a decade ago fresh out of university. i made it all the way to the interview but didn’t get the offer.

if you know your role has progressed to the next stage, just move on. they will not contact you.

the skills test was physical. the head of hr said the next stage was interview, then medicals.

it was only one panel interview with the finance team and the CFO.

there were no technical questions, just scenario based interview question.

but this was 2013. things might have changed now.

Thanks for sharing this. It's much appreciated. Can you give an example of the scenario based questions and if you can remember any tips that can improve our chances of success in the interview, that would be really nice

MOVEMENT suspends Operation Chevron Dragnet, names Lori - Ogbebor, Ebosa, others, as mediators

The Niger Delta Liberation Movement, NDLM, otherwise known as MOVEMENT, has announced the indefinite suspension of ' Operation Chevron Dragnet ', naming Chief Rita Lori - Ogbebor and five other prominent Itsekiris as mediators.

The group in an electronic mail sent to Fresh Angle International at exactly 5:19 am today, Monday December 16, named Comrade Amaechi Ogbonna, Hon. Mofe Pirah, Hon. Mode Akoma, Hon. Toritseju Godwin Ebosa and Prof. Itse Sagay as the other mediators / negotiators, that would dialogue with Chevron Nigeria Limited, government and other stakeholders on the way forward.

In the electronic statement, ascribed to its Secretary ,Mr. Emmanuel Tagbanaraewumi, NDLM, recalled how it launched the Operation Chevron Dragnet on Friday November 22,2024, blasting " multiple pipelines along Olero - Dibi - Abiteye Fields / Flow stations, at about 2:00 am."

The statement , noted in parts: "The OPERATION CHEVRON DRAGNET which was initially launched on Friday, 22nd of November 2024 with the blasting of multiple pipelines along Olero - Debi - Abiteye fields/flow stations at about 2:00 am based on Chevron Nigeria Limited's refusal to listen to her host communities and organisations from the Itsekiri extraction that was calling for the implementation of local content law and allocate to her the rightful quota in the ongoing Chevron Nigeria Limited recruitment by a consulting firm known as dragnet is suspended on the halter of the public opinion to give room for round table dialogue between various stakeholders which includes Chevron Nigeria Limited, the Government, leaders/representatives from the host communities, interest organisations and other stakeholders on the subject matter.

"On the part of the government, is time to deem it fit to relentlessly play your various roles as expected in sustaining the social contract that binds the peaceful coexistence of the Nigerian citizens by urgently attending to the needs of Itsekiri ethnic nationality oil-producing communities as OPERATION CHEVRON DRAGNET doesn't start and end with the issue of empowerment and conversion of staff but that of availability of drinkable water, electricity, human capital development engagement, infrastructural projects, etc.

"It is no longer news that the Itsekiri nation had lost faith in many of her leaders as they have, over time, proven to be in pursuit of their individual interests. Therefore, we believe in and recommend the following persons to be mediators/negotiators for and on behalf of the Itsekiri nation in dialogue for the way forward;

1. Chief Rita Lori Ogbebor.

2. Comrade Amechi Ogbonna.

3. Hon. Mofe Pirah.

4. Hon. Mode Akoma.

5. Hon. Toritseju Godwin Ebosa.

6. Professor Itse Sagay.

" We appreciate all our foot soldiers who had stood firm. Your various sacrifices for the Itsekiri nation shall never be in vain as we assure all to remain steadfast."

Please can we connect via ganobiobinna@yahoo.com. I got an invite for Senior Facilities Engineering skilled test.

Lickingleks:
Good day everyone. Just wanted to put my status out there for those in a similar situation. Maybe we can connect.

I applied for the facilities and petroleum engineer positions, wrote the aptitude test, got invited to write both petroleum and facilities engineering skill test.

My experience with the petroleum engineering skill test was terrible. Wasn't mentally prepared for questions that technical, ran out of space to calculate on paper and was quite challenging given that I didn't study petroleum, chemical or process engineering.

The facilities engineering skill test was much better. There were 5 sections: electrical, mechanical, civil, process and project management. I spent a total of 4 hours and used up 7 pages of higher education paper to write my answers.

The petroleum and facilities engineer skills test were on Nov 22 and 23 respectively.

I'm waiting to hear back from Dragnet/Chevron. If you're in the same boat, I'd love to connect with you
