In my areas at ijegun Samuel Adeoti St. We just came out of a week's darkness so I can't assess situation right now until we have like a week's light again. But since Saturday that we've been having light I'll say it's like 15 hours / day 2 Likes |

IFECHIGCON:It’s not always that we should be condemning the government. When the government is right, nobody remembers but when they are wrong, nobody forgets. Where I live at Ogba, behind Area G Police Command, Ikeja our power supply has greatly improved to the extent that for the past two months, not a single person has used generator. It’s not that they don’t take light, but on the average, we enjoy about 20 hrs daily (Band A). 6 Likes |

Yes, he's correct on the availability, but not affordable. Band A pricing is not reaonable, they would have made more money on BandB. Nigerians with their unreasonable excesses of extorting the masses. 4 Likes |

Every September and October, you guys open this thread. Is something wrong with your heads after it's been repeatedly known that Water levels contributes to improved power generation and the colder weather contributes to improving distribution because transformers are 2x more likely to overheat and blow in dry season than rainy season and the lightening incidents that's prevalent in June/July (Why they'll always take light once it starts raining in these months) are quite low. Put all these factors together you get improved power supply in September and October - and this happens absolutely every year The point |

I live at Hatchery Estate Abakaliki Ebonyi State. We're billed on Band A but don't enjoy 20 hours power supply per day. Infact we're load shaded, yet pay so much. 1 Like |

Paramount01: LOL....TRUE. Nigerians are used to that. I know a bulb in my area, outside one house that is always on...day or night. Nigerians will need to learn the habit of switching off appliances when not in use. I guess the power bills will help them learn that new habit 3 Likes |

Lying incompeent c0cksvcker!!! Nigeria produces, per capita (per citizen) less than 3% (actually just around 2%) of energy compared with the developed world. Only once Nigeia builds 50 new power plants for each power plant that exists today, Nigerians will enjoy 24/7 power supply. |
