MikoB:Oga calm down, Wike can't do nada. Fubara's energy is being powered by Peter odili and some notable powerful ijaw caucus in Rivers state and the Niger delta. If Rivers state catches fire, it will consume Wike and it it shall also affect the Nation's oil output. Tinubu knows this, hence he is threading carefully not to openly support Wike. Militancy will rear its ugly head again it will turn a tribal war. 4 Likes 1 Share |

busybrain123: Have a retrospect...a deep one, and think of what you have just written. When court judgement is being enforced...hope you won't shout to high heavens. I am not in support of any politician, because, for me..they are same...but saying no one will obey an appeal court judgement, when such has not been set aside by a superior court..in this case, Supreme Court...it's concerning. 2 Likes |

MikoB:May I humbly ask what will the assembly do to him? If you're looking at impeachment. Please impeachment doesn't start and end at the hallowed chamber of the house of assembly. The chiefs judge of the state holds the ace because he is the one to constitute panel to investigate any infraction that might be preferred against the governor, and whatever he recommends is the final. You know for now, the chief judge is at the armpit of the governor. For now, Wike is just stressing himself. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

I was expecting.to read that they never defected to APC and therefore they are still members of PDP, hence, they cannot.lose their seats. The judgement is still on the issue of presentation and representation of budget and not on the issue of defection. That one is the Koko. This is by the way side. |

Ignore them and their kulikuli judgment, Mr Fubara. I wonder why you still bother about those internally displaced legislators. 3 Likes |

Truth remains that the judgement can only make sense if they didn't resign from PDP and joined APC. It's that simple but only Fubara can decide to forgive them and accept them back after reconciliation 2 Likes |

InfoGuru118: A lot of people don't read before they comment. How would Gov. Fubara withdraw from the High Court and after the judgment is not in his favour, he is going to the Appeal Court!!! Please what is he going to appeal ? I wonder the kind of people advising him? People will come and say Wike has bought the judiciary. 1 Like |

NairalandForumo: What is Kangaroo...there? Simple technicalities. No wonder Wicked wike kept quiet...who are Fubura's legal team. The Attorney General of the state should resign immediately. How can they withdraw the challenge at the Federal High Court and how come to the Appeal court to challenge what they have withdrawn. It's just like withdrawing your loan application at the bank and later show up on another date for payment of the loan request you've already withdrawn. 2 Likes |

etrouble:Mr. Man, no man born of a woman can withhold state allocation again in this country without express order of the court and it would be hard for the court to even say so because you will be subjecting the whole state to ridicule and that may cause civil unrest. Even at that. The supreme court had said in the case between FG vs LSG, that you don't punish the whole local government because of the offence of one and withholding their allocation. If an allocation of a state like Rivers is seized, you have successfully call out the militants to resume their duty indirectly. Who will lose at last? I hope you already know the answer. 1 Like |

ddippset: Pls, I think this forum has been occupied by kids lately. They don't even know their right from wrong Can you just imagine this kind of comment Them Court of apply rules on a case and recognise a particular speaker , and the speakers now carries out is functions in his capacity , then who's the chief judge to disobey the speaker proclam ? Indeed common sense is not common and law doesn't operates on sentiment but on rules of law. I'm not in support or either party but we should say things the way it is. The governor is 95% out of office as it stands 1 Like 2 Shares |

You guys don't understand law. The fact that I am a student of Madonna University today, and I wake up tomorrow and come on live television to say I am no longer a student of Madonna and I have moved to Covenant University does that immediately make me a student of Covenant University? For me to join Covenant University they need to give me admission, and matric number. But if I am yet to quite from Madonna and my names are still in the student register in Madonna, it means I am still a student of Madonna and the fact that I came out publicly on social media to say I am now a student of covenant University does not make me their student. The fact that they said that publicly does not make them automatic members of APC. Their names are not in the APC register and their names are still in the PDP register. So how do you want to proof to a Judge that they are not members of PDP just because they said so on TV? The law is the law, and the law does not work with sentiments or emotions. All the people drumming support for Fubara will beat the drum for him till his doom. These members of the House of Assembly will impeach him by next year. The local government elections will also be nullified so all his efforts will be in futility. busybrain123: 3 Likes |
