Hi funkybaby.
I have decided to withdraw my passports because I really need them so bad since I have to renew my permit here in SA.
But what baffle is dat they have not reply my email notifying them of my intention to withdraw unlike before when I ask for
Application status.
From the house does it take long to return passport again?

Oga ooo funn this uk self.

Cheers
funkybaby:

Yeah, it must be really frustrating and annoying for you.

Just hope for the best although to be honest it doesn't look too good....... The conference you planned attending is over, it's taken them over 10 weeks to conduct local checks and yet your application is pending.

If you decide to withdraw your application, you will forfeit the visa processing fee you've paid. So just wait and keep praying smiley

Make a mini-budget of how much the trip will cost you and make a list of places/things you tend to do in the UK.

Yes, many have visited that center only to be told that their passport is ready to be picked up. They did not receive any message or phone call

Thanks OUR own Justwise...God will bless you for the great assistance you have been rendering here. I pray to meet you, Vicjustice and Funkybaby in person someday.

Please can I add my Vanagon bus particulars/agreeement reached with the driver to be deliverying 100k monthly for the period of 12months as part of the application documents? Or simply put, will it be accepted as means of inflow into my account? since it accounts for 75% of inflow into my personal savings a/c NOT Salary acct.

Regards.

sundyke107: Greetings to all the gurus in the house.

Please I intend to apply for Uk visa by February 2014, this is to enable me run my accounts properly cos at the moment there are high activities in my personal savings account which i cannot account for. I will be using my salary account and personal savings account. Please if I print 5months statement for my savings account and 6months for my salary account does it matter?

Secondly, I own a bus which i gave out on a hire puchase with monthly delivery of 100,000 from the driver. Please can I use the vehicle particulars and copy of agreement reached with the driver as part of documents to support my application since the driver pays into my account on monthly basis. NOTE: The cash comes instalmentally atimes but must complete 100k at the end of every month (shown in my statement of account)

Justwise,Vicjustice, funkybaby and other advisers in the house, Kindly assit.

Please Profs in the house I, assist

Any money paid into your account need to be explained properly with paper evidence, don't leave the ECO second-guessing where the money came from.

Though 6 months bank statement is the requirement, but you will be fine with a 5 month bank statement (or even less) provided the statement is convincing enough to satisfy the visa officer of the purpose.
I'm not sure I know what you mean by "hire purchase", whatever it means, does the bus business operate with documents?
And NO, the agreement that you have with your bus driver is not a relevant document , only the documents that comply with revenue office business registration and taxing are valid in this regard

Public holidays are observed by VFS {and I bet you know that already}.

Go pick up your processed application on Thursday and return to share the news, ciao.

Hi
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Delphy97: 4:48pm On Oct 15, 2013
royalsweetness: My uncle is my sponsor for my UK student Visa and he bears the same surname as me, can I name him as my father instead of uncle, since he has never really adopted me so I don't have documents to prove that.
i don't think so because you'll still need to submit your birth certificate which will show the name of your parents and so you will be giving them false information. He doesn't have to be your father to be your sponsor

I read on nairaland today that its always very hard to prove someone is your legal guardian.

He has to be her father to be her sponsor, her uncle can not sponsor her.

Save yourself the trouble and ask your uncle to transfer the money into your account if he really want to sponsor you.

Why not tell your "friend" about nairaland.com so that he may ask the question himself.
It's always nicer to have direct dealings with the main people

Hello guys
I applied for a business visa some months and was refused, now i intend to reapply but i have a couple of questions;
-i run my own registered business and i do not issue payslips to myself, how do i answer the 'how much i earn monthly' question given that there is no paper evidence to back it up?
-i have a balance of 2.6m in my personal account but with high activity in the account over the past 6 months cos it used to double as my business account before i got a company account. How do i explain this?
-the last time i was at the vfs, i noticed an express service option which can fasttrack the process to 4days. I intend to use the service cos as a businessman, the money in my company account could be needed anytime. Could this be termed desperation on my own part?

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance
