Reality is nt anybody's friend unilorin hardly admitted medicine student like sand, number of available space is very small quote even Arabic is out cake talkless of medicine wake up guys I was offered to study edu management while I applied to study sociologu I am an nce holder am tired of talk I intent to change carrier but God has special plan for my life my lord is regarded as master planner.

I heard it again frm a reliable source dt dr ll be more uploaded list(i mean more of merit list by nxtwk..Dat dose ones dat came out b4 were dose on jamb merit list..let me explain beta,jamb decided dis year dat dey must also v a stake in admission process.So d skul itslf ll release dr own merit list 4 dose who v nt yet gottn..I want 2 be sure of ds info,so PLS dose who gained admission,tell us ur jamb score,i want 2 kno if dr s less dn 240.

In my prayer in chief I urge my lord to crown all our efforts with success but in view of previous admission that was released earlier its joint knoledge of unilorin and jamb never believe say jamb have power above any nigeria univerties based on my admission I believed it was sent to jamb from sch cos I apply to study sociology but what I came across @ jamb site is edu management when unilorin also released the list is almost the samething in view of on going circumstance all you need is prayer not speculation Ire oooooo

try comprehend my write up an summarize it I never mentioned anything related to merit here but all you need to do as a medicine applicant try visit the sch pass through the dept of your choice make an enquiries regarding the number of students admitted yearly you will be surprise, in nutshell science students were the back bone of unilorin in any examination they usually come out in flying colour so tell me in situation whereby 100 student applied to study medicine and available space is just 30 what do expect happen to the remain 70 ? Automatically they will drop 70 for 30 among those 30 lucky student may just be 5 remaining 25 will surely based on runs, I can cite AAU Ekpoma as an example while I applied there some years ago I was informed that if I came all the way from kwara and wish to study in Edo if I like have the highest score no way except I pass through someone which is impossible for me, just sit down @ home be expecting miracle

If ur name is nt on d MERIT list dnt let anyone deceive U, U didn't get up to d set cutoff of d particular dept U applied for, no runs involved on d MERIT, from d 2nd list dat wen each staff start putting in der slot n den u cud runs admission to d highest order... My point is dis, we dnt knw d requirement for admission into each dept dats y peeps complain dats it all abt runs here, if ur name isn't out start d runsing tinz nw

the days when unilorin's merit list actually contain only merit students are long gone.sum1 dt got 161 in jamb got admitted into medicine in 2006 while i got 267 and wasnt admitted. Anybody who did d postjamb dt year wil knw it was rubbish. In 2008 i got 273 in jamb and 76 in post jamb but wasnt on any list for accounting, bt a person wt just 206 and 53 was given admission into d same course on d merit list{she later crashed out}.i was admitted a year later and since i've seen dt unless u knw pple, u had better be very prayerful. A cousin of mine made d law merit list in 2010 wt 223 and 55,{sorry, i forgot he boosted his chances by dropping a letter from a SAN, so if u knw one...}
dt doesnt mean dt some pple do nt make it wtout connections though, 4 of our top students in my level are on d merit list and chose unilorin as 2nd choice. So be prayerful and u'll all smile into unilorin ds year. Ur hopes will not be quashed by d special grace of God. Peace

Further enquiries at the faculty made me know that out of the 100-120 admitted students, only abt 40-50 will be allowed to proceed to 200L using the criterias:
1. Any student who fails a single course is dropped to the Faculty of science or asked to repeat 100L. He further said if the people who passed are still more than the allocated slot, only then will the 2nd criteria be used
2. Any medical student who has a CGPA of less than 3.0 is also dropped

I am of the opinion that you must be a genius unlike some other lazy student asking question here on nairaland indirectly unilorin final list of successful medicine students after yr one is within the range of 50 to 60 in view of this about 2000 plus applied for the space of 60

.. Can u please explain this too me mehm! Me getting 217 in jamb and 60% in ma p.ume applied foq sociology. And a female fwend of mine was admitted on ur so called MERIT list wif 204 and 54 in the same sociology dept.. Now tell me is that ur MERIT? Since u seem to ave gat all the answers.. Mtcheeew. I fink u the one talking trash here mehm..
