Something baffles me here. The admission officer told me they use only Pume score. Does than mean my 78 isnt enof. Believe me; Unilorin doesnt know of anything called MERIT |

Its been a while off nairaland....I felicitate with all admitted into the gr8 Alma mata...I can now see see that some have learnt that there is nothing like merit list....To all not yet to be admitted pls be patient.... |

And a female fwend of mine was admitted on ur so called MERIT list wif 204 and 54 in the same sociology dept.. Now tell me is that ur MERIT? Since u seem to ave gat all the answers.. Mtcheeew. I fink u the one talking trash here mehm..I am also a victim of circumstance but my story took different dimention 244 and 62 respectively but offered edu management moreso 200 and 50 is the the minimum required score for sociology unilorin may admit student that have 200 and 50 and dump 217 and 60 because catchment area less previlage education area o'level combination we need to take all this into consideration its very important not only jamb and post jamb sores |

Harbioollah: I laugh in Japanese at all the comments here abt Medicine. Your above post contains some laughable things.. >Max of 120 is admitted - True (this is evn d highest no approved by NUC/NMDC, some schs cant admit up to this no) >If u fail any course (hav an F) or if u hav a CGPA of less than 3.0 after 100L, u'll be required to change dept - True (it has to be confirmed that you understand basic sciences b4 being bombarded with their applications in medical and clinical sciences) Only 50 - 60 will cross to year 2 - FALSE!! As many that pass will cross, even if its the whole class. (bt nt everybody will make it tho, some ppl (wt exceptionally gud results) will therefore be crossed over to medicine frm anatomy nd physiology) and concerning admission for medicine, the best are usually taken irrespective of ur choosin d sch as ur 1st or 2nd choice. I also got 2nd list in my time and was surprised to see over 75% of d class wt 275 above in jamb nd 90s nd higher 80s in post utme. Prayer did mine 4 me then, tho i had a 265 nd 71. 1 Like |

mehhhhhhhhhn 226 jamb 62 post ume and 2 distinction 7 credit in my waec and from kogi state bt no admission yet hmmmmm no b small tin o though i know there alot of people applayn for the same course wit beta result than mine bt i know i will surely make the 2nd list insha'alla. those who also fall in2 dis condition of mine, let jst kip praying and also have faith in God cos with him all things are possible. Abeg ooooo those of u that are fortunate to be in the first list plssssssss don't fill the whole hostel oooo cos we wil join u soon. Unilorin here i come........... |

I fink u the one talking trash here mehm..Merit list are never altered in all instutution I dnt care were u get ur info from or watever, all school keep der integrity to elevate der ranking among institution am nt der wt u so hw am I to knw if d gurl said d truth n if her name was on d MERIT list also remember catchment area n ELDS are also included on d merit list n der score are always relatively low compared to odas... MERIT list I repeat can't be altered even by d VC dats y der is room for oda lists to follow. DON'T CARE WAT U TINK ANYWAY(na my mind I speak, n wat am sure of) |

U guyz shuld stop bothering ursleves wiv ur highscores and start praying 4 God's favour. We dnt knw d criteria used 4 d admissn,so we shuldnt base it only on jamb nd putme scores. I beliv we wuld all av causes 2 smile.hope 4 d best! |

Transfer of aggression is not d ish 4 nw. U ought to knw the school u r applying to(knw dia politics,integrity n many more).brovas n sistas why arguing n complaining while ur mates n negotiating dia way in d school. Sorry to say this,few of guys has passed tru wat I av. (Finished in 2004,applied to unilorin in 2005(first pume ever),chose dem in 2006,2010,2011 n finally 2012). I was frustrated like u last yr when I wasn't admitted afta 4 attempts into d same university,said so many sh*t here while ppl are luking n seeking alternatives. Bammy,bakr abas,BBB,khattab,neyor,christoxx n many more can testify to hw urgent connection ish is afta first list. Pray u all make it to unilorin as I've done buh 4get abt merit or no merit. silent don:true talk mostly but 120 is not d maximum no. allowed to b admitted. u can admit as much as u want during 100L but when in medical school-200L to 600L, d no has to be correlate to d no. of facilities available. unilorin can only graduate 100 medical doctors at a time cos that is d quota allotted them. hence d reason they admit a little above 100. uniben n unijos have a quota of 200, n thus admit over 200. i agree with u. if everybody in 100L passes, they all cross,but not all ll pass. if 100L exam doesnt downsize it, first M.B exam will. if it doesnt,part one of 2nd M.B will. again, it is MDCN. NOT NMDC all d best in ur results n tanx for d encouragement though. really appreciated |
