You all are just condemning the police without knowing what actually happened, am in kano and i know what happened first hand, how can protesters('yan dabba boys') as they are called in hausa, take their protest to the government house, after forcefully entering the government house, they met a fierce resistance from the police in there, two people were killed on the spot while the rest fled. What concerns the governor with fuel subsidy removal?

Thunder fire you and your Generation, so their killing justifies your statement above. if police no kill you too, trailer go jam you and your family. Anumanu. FOOOl

you are surely the biggest fool of your generation, so if protesters breaks into your gov't house & they set cars ablaze, killed a security guard, what do you expect the police to do? Mind you this guys are not protesters, they are the regular rioters of the city, maybe you expect the police to be smiling & probably allow them to kill the governor. Right now, curfew has been declared in the state as a result of what happened.

DON'T BUY SHYTE for 30 days.

Fill your vehicles, fill your gas cans.  Then as a group, don't buy anything.  Walk everywhere you need to go, don't use City Bus.  Walk where you need to go.  Shut the government down by ceasing and desisting.  They cannot raise the price on you.  If you AREN'T BUYING WHAT THEY ARE SELLING, They need the $$$ that is why they have taken away the surplus.  You can counter this and hurt them financially, as they are driving the price up to hurt you.  You can cripple a nation by stop using their services.  You are the people, more money funds your government.  Stop spending, stop talking, stop yelling, stop marching.  Just stop buying and organize a few of your own selected representatives to meet with government leaders, while you stand silently watching saying nothing, Just hold signs in the air in the thousands and millions listing your wants.

They will meet you at the table once their money stops coming in from you.  You spend money in the millions for government sponsored services such as fuel, gas, oil, bus fare, etc.  Hit their pockets, that is where it hurts and that is when they will listen to you.

Don't buy anything until they meet your terms.

That is the effective way.  Violence just begets violence.  Refusing their services hits their pockets and makes them listen.
