download Auto3g or iControl from cydia any of them ll do the magic. They ll set ur iphone to 3G only or 2G only.

thanks, I just checked out both tweaks but unfortunately they ain't compatible with iPhone 5. Still painful tho *sad face*

I'd suggest you try another service provider. Seems you're not having a good 3G signal at ya location cuz I see no reason why it should be switching from 3G to edge often like you said.

No vex bro, i initially tot u meant u bought the apps from the AppStore but when u now said Ikeja. On a serious note now, I will advice u download/buy all ur apps with ur own id. I don't collect apps from people cos it will eventually ask for the persons password especially when u wanna update such app.
