Has Power Been Worse Than Normal Lately? by tiebe: 10:26pm On Mar 29, 2012 |
people, i know Nepa/PHCN has never been perfect. But in my area, and in warri, it has become even worse than ever. My folks in benin have the same complaints. And the heat is killing! Please can u let me know if its the same where you are? Also, if you could go a step further by saying why if u knw. Some people think its because d dams r dry frm the dry season. Another theory is turbine maintenance p.s, Moderator, if this is not the appropriate section, pls relocate my topic. Thanks |

My light has not blink for 7 weeks in a row inspite the facts that there are no issues with our transformer. To crown it all i was told that Nepa official came down to cut the line of people that have not paid for services not rendered. I wish i was around when they came, the people arround did not allow them though. Something just has to be done. Even my son knew how to call Nepa b4 mummy and Daddy. Na wa o !!! |

For the past two weeks no light in Igbo-efon in Lekki. Because of the heat and my son that is at home, i had to keep running the gen stiching with the inverter. I have spent 15k on fuel so far and counting not to mention the flogging the gen is going through right now. God please save us from the heat. |
Re: Has Power Been Worse Than Normal Lately? by Afolabs101: 10:49am On Mar 30, 2012 |
In my area in Lagos we had light for almost 20 hrs a day, but the past couple of weeks, its been really bad. Add the higher than normal temperature and the suffering increases hundredfold. @~bluetooth, can u shed some more light (no pun intended) on the situation? What is the problem that govt r working on? |
