on online application I wrote that i am called Mariya,and in all my official documents(passport,birth certificate,ID card, ....) it is written Mariya but on my diploma it is written Maliya,

Do you think this will be a big issue during my interview?
I need your advice, please

Somebody told me that as a Green card holder, you'll be given Accommodation & Free Medical expense.
Am a single winner but what if i get there & want to bring my Fiancee (Husband to be) but not yet married to him. What will i do? Cause i can't live there alone. Thanks once again.

to be factual women are giving priority than men, for accomodation some women go for section 8, this is a government assistance programme for single mother and women at a very reduce rate, but you dont want to be controlle by government all the time,this give them unrestricted access to your income soon you start a work then you are subject to pay what you had consumed. My advice is that try as much as possible to be independent of government aids.There are organisation like SELF HELP who can assist when needs arise. For medical, every state have programme for less priviledge and new immigrant like us medicaid,masshealth for (MA residence) and so on but as soon as you start working and your income is above puverty line,they will authomatically stop it and give you an alternative affordable insurance.Visit WIC website to learn more abou Women.Infant.Children programme.
Above all, when you get down here ask for God's favour to get job as quick as possible,with $9-12hr for 40hrs job you should be able to get good accomodation and feed youself.Food is not problem here even best nigerian food,transportation is not problem too if you leave close to the main street(depending on your area)

When you get settle down you can file for your fiancee or spouse,uscis we send a welcoming letter to you and another letter telling you which form number you can use to file for your fiancee/spouse and your close relatives.

you are in the best place to make your personal decision,we've already close the door on the issue of affidavit of support.The conclusion was that it is not compulsory for dv visa.

Good for you adzovia,but if you dont have it you wont get penalized either,because they dont ask for it from dv winners.

i only wanted to be careful and prepared for any excuse i might be given for the delay of my process. although i am sure is not neccessary

Thanks bro, i will tell you all about my POE experience. Once i get connected,i will return to nairaland. But for now,am stil part of the house,my flight is stil somedays away
