westcodes:. Hello Westcodes. Thank you for explaining to me in details how to go about getting my police certificate from Nigeria. I will be getting the finger prints in Ibadan since I am here presently. I just need a little clarity from you. I tried to call the criminal record office in SA in charge of police certificate but I was put on hold for too long. I wanted to know where to download that SA form you were talking about. I tried to google it but couldn't find it. Do I need to fill any form also with Nigeria police that I will send to them or is just d finger print paper I will send? A police man told me at the state police headquarters in Ibadan that the finger print is the normal ink pad thing because I thought there is a special kind of paper for that. Plz a friend is traveling to SA this weekend kindly respond to my post today if you get it. I have been trying to get intouch with u to know more about this. Thanks. |

tolma28: hello everybody. please i will like to ask about the implication of the red stamp on passport after visa denial (can someone whose passport has been stamped with d red stamp recently in Lagos reapply in Abuja?). also i will like to ask if it is possible to get more than 3 months visiting visa (especially for someone who has been issued like 3 tourist visa before)the red stamp mean they have ban u for a year or six month, that happen when they see any forge document. I also have the same stamp in my passport, but i can refer u to 1 agent that can help u to get the visa ban or no ban but the man will charge u like 180k o 1 Like 1 Share |

Martins459: Dear Collins, Justwise etal. I really need your advice. Hi peeps, I got my 3 months SA tourist visa yesterday. This came on the heels of previous Visa denial earlier in the year when my application was denied on the grounds that the signature on bank statement lacks credibility. |

Idrismusty97: Can someone estimate the total amount you will need to go to south African.Visa, passport etc included. Thanks Police Certificate - depends on how well you can negotiate - 3 - 10k Medical Cert - about 500 Visa Application - about 18k Repatriation fees - 110k Plane ticket - about 110k (unless you're flying first/middle class) Accomodation - depends on your hotel. Can't estimate Bank statement - about 600k is fine (may be part of the above) What else am I missing? 2 Likes |

SOS @TYPOP and others. I've booked my flight for Friday 25th (Cape Town)... And intend staying with a friend when I get there. However, the same friend told me that I must have an hotel reservation of about 5 days or I wouldn't be allowed to enter the Republic. Please... How can I go about this? I don't have the finances to book an actual reservation at the moment! Can I make a reservation online without paying? If yes, can anyone kindly give me guidelines on how this is done (e.g. hotels/website)? Thanks in advance. |

Good day all, I am a new member here so please pardon if my question seems to be a recurrent one but I tried to read all post but believe me I would need an optician if I should go through all of it..(lol). I just have two simply questions: 1) My sponsor has two separate bank statements containing a little over 1million in each. I would like to know if this would be sufficient enough to tender at the embassy for a study permit. (My school is Uni of Wits, postgrad program) 2) Where in Abuja (banks or pay points) do I pay for the study permit application fees. Thanks guys for anticipated prompt response. |

Although I have seen some universities taking HND holders directly for masters, but if not, you will first need to apply for honors degree which will take 1 year, then you can then apply for your masters. Generally, postgraduate education here is not so expensive compared to some other countries and you can also pay the fees in installments, but if you are going for honors, you have to pay for all the courses you have to register. As I said earlier SAQA evaluation results will suggest what you can apply for. Goodluck |

julianauche19: Thanks so much. So how do i go for the evaluation .what are the process involved? [Quote author=kingmayor] You will apply for SAQA evaluation with the certified true copies of your certificates, transcripts and ID. SAQA evaluation can only be applied for here. There is the express application which takes around 10-15 working days to get the evaluation certificate and it costs around R1000 (am not sure), the other one takes roughly 2 months and its like half the price for the express evaluation. |
