Mimiko’s beautification programmes turn Akure to a modern city and other project in ondo.

It's obvious that you're having a laugh with those pictures. Development indeed.

As my Igbo bros will say: Ya nimesis will kash up to you.

I'm not full of hate. I'm just stating the obvious.

Unless you're saying that my observations are wrong. Evaluate them, point out what was wrong with them, and from there we can talk.

As for Ekiti development, I'll make sure to ask Fayemi ASAIC.

ekt_bear: Afanna, I am not seeing drainage on these streets in Edo you are posting. Is this just the camera, and the drainage does exist..?

There is drainage in the streets, it is underneath the side walks on some of the new streets in benin city. There is even a storm water masterplan that is under construction in the city. Rural roads on the other hand don't really need "drainage".They can allow runoff onto the natural bush

naturalwaves: This kind of forum is best for people like u who can sit in d corners of their houses and then type jargons without any serious consequences.I realised we aren't on the same level in everything ok?I do not even know if u av been to lagos and when and ow long if atall.U sit in d bush and talk about things happening in lagos.Bush girl from Akwa Ibom.I thought U guys are more famous for ur s****L promiscuousity, why dont u just face that.

You are no less a Bone-head containing some shit water that run d filty gutters of Lagos, probably living at Okokomaiko or Mushin. You r no doubt a Yoruba guy lazing abt d streets of Lagos n praising people for alms n waiting to be taken in by some old moms(sugar mummy).

Yes, I'm an Akwa Ibomite n a very proud one especially, giving its present Govt n d developmental strides yet comparable.

Another Okija: Best Governor: Rivers State

Name of Governor: Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi

Areas of Achievements: Roads (complete with underground drainages, open gutters and street ligets), City expansion, Electricity, Education, Transportation...

Years in office: Barely 4 years..

Party: PDP

Future aspirations: Presidency..

Others worthy of mention include: Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Enugu..

person Governors: Rochas Owelle Okorocha.. IMO STATE.. Aregbesola.. Amongst many in the North and west of Nigeria!

I live in port Harcourt, Truly Truly, Amechi is Wounderful, However, if you ask the indigens of Rivers state to compare Akpabio and Amechi, they will voices it out straight to you, the difference it too clear, Akpabio is the Man.

Why Akpabio if you ask: How Long have Rivers State being exisisiting, Akwa ibom was created some few years back yet making very good use of their allocation, Quality infacstructures, This is a general concerption in Port Harcourt.
Re: Best Governor And Fastest Developing States In Nigeria? by nonsom(m): 4:00pm On Feb 17, 2013
Rochas is the most industrious governor in Nigeria, considering his limited monthly allocation in imo state, yet he has transformed Imo state beyond recorganition. Do you know that the monthly allocation of Rivers, Lagos, Akwa ibom and cross River in a month is almost what imo state is receiving in a year, yet the achievement of Rochas in less than two years can be compared with what all these governors of the mentioned states above have achieved in over six years now. Rochas is the greatest governor in Nigeria, whether you like it or not.

The only thing Governor Amechi has not done in Rivers state with respect to indices of good governance is the provision of pipe borne water. The guy has really done well and Rivers state people will definitey appreciate him in the future even if they don't do now.
Re: Best Governor And Fastest Developing States In Nigeria? by Niceguy2112(m): 12:45am On Mar 06, 2013
I don't know if this makes Rochas Okorocha the best governor in the country, but I think he has the best plan.

coolrose: What is the yardstick to measure this performance? Project execution,Leadership style, revenue generation etc or what?
Re: Best Governor And Fastest Developing States In Nigeria? by VitSmart(m): 10:24pm On Jun 05, 2013
The truth must be said- Gov.akpabio of akwa ibom state, Fashola of lagos, Amaechi of rivers and Rochas of imo state are really working ahead of others. They remain the best 4 governors as long as infrastructural development and dividends of democracy are concerned. Period.
