@easycopyrh, I am glad that @ last we will have a headstart as regards ur new strategy. Sunday will be jst fine, though I will be @ wok cos am a shift worker, I can always catch in on the gist wen am bak. I trust guys in the house will be available to make resourceful contribution.
I hav used ur first strategy, it has given me abt 65percent success rate, the candle jst doesn't come down sometimes, in fact breaks out completely. I even discovered that particular green line repaints. Am sure I will get beta by the day..thumbs up for the profs in the house

Even after placing a bet you can still monitor for any major trend change that may wipe off the bet so you can re-coup....

That's definitely not what she is asking. Someone here said you can use OFFLINE CHARTS on the trading platform when market is closed. Random indices doesn't have any tech or fund to back it up, its just random floating numbers

I think MetaTrader 4 has that kinda feature. Its used with a script called Renko Charts. I've stopped using MT4 though, but I think it should be under the "File" menu. Go through the File menu thoroughly sha.

This thread has been silent for past 12 hrs thereabout. The fact there is no trade today shouldnt make it so quite, at least we can use this moments to learn from the gurus in the house. We all know this bussiness is not as easy as it seems, and any tip from the profs in the house will just do.Perharps I should start by asking a question troubling me.

I personally want to trade stictly on technical decisions, I realise that sometimes the strategy one seem to have mastered suddenly fails to give good results . Then you discover that some news have definitely overide ones technicalities. I do one avoid getting caught in this quagmire. How can one cash in on the news and use it to ones advantage. Can one be successful without following news at all.

Yes i like what you said and to add to it on what happened on gu where there was a breakout was due to a break of a resistance at 1.5594 to the uptrend and this particular point had resisted price moving upwards about 3 times or price had tested it 3 times. This is what is called heads and shoulder formation and a great lesson to learn from and this will make me better in trading.

@samuel kanu, u stated that there was a breakout @ dis point. What's is the implication of this. How often does breakouts occur? How many times does a candle test a price to break out. I feel a beta strategy is to wait for the end of the hour, see if it is a breakout or not..then follow the retracement or the breakout. I haven't tested this , just my opinion. What do you think?
