probably the KitKat custom ROM that was released recently... my guess is he just wan form efizzy for hia...he'll re - downgrade soon enough... cos that ROM has bugs aplenty... and is as unstable as PHCN

Is there a kitkat ROM based on touchwiz? undecided

oh...well I said its “probably” the KitKat custom ROM....meaning it could also not be the custom ROM...I considered that he could just be using a KitKat launcher.... which is very popular now...that's why I said “probably” in my initial post

The emphasis isn't even the launcher being used. Almost everyone has the Google launcher by now

lifehacker: how can ciphe sad 'stable enough' if it isn't a custom rom
any simple launcher skinned to look like the kit kat homescreen wouldnt cause you to doubt its stability the way ciphe did, would it?

I got a note 3 app pack flashed on the 4.3 MJ5 ROM for the note 2, 95% bug free (haven't found any)

stephinnoyewole:
4.4 rom or os?
Jst asking ooo,no offence tho

I meant to say it is a ROM based off of the Android 4.4 OS, meaning it could be something like CM 11 (or whichever CM Rom will be based off of Android 4.4)

Ok then, it's the launcher that gives it the appearance of a ROM based on Android KitKat

Touchwiz based ROMs are the best for the note series. I even tried the touchwiz launcher and surprisingly, the lag is gone. I prefer the Google launcher because of easier access to Google now

I think for Samsung based phones in general, Touchwiz based ROMs are the most stable (I don't know why, I think it has something to do with the Exynos processor found in a lot of higher-end Samsung phones). But this holds especially true like you said for the Note series because pure Android does not have anything that benefits the Note series.
