I was on stock rom ICS a couple of days ago rocking OPEN VPN Connect, did the backup for the stock rom and until I upgraded the phone with a custom rom CM 11 KitKat. I just noticed while setting up the app I couldn't input both the username and password as the box to insert those were not highlighted but I could only see the already saved username used on stock rom then and I cannot edit it. I have uninstalled and re-installed and it is still the same.

Find the attached as proof. I need to solve this urgently.

Someone should quickly look into this please.

your phone is now in bootloop state.the problem must have arised as a result of recent changes in the phone system,either you installed an incompatible app or made a change on the phone system path.you have to do a factory reset.press hold volum up and power button,then scroll to wipe data factory reset to reset the phone

no bro.root will be gone but custom recovery like cmw will still be there.you will have to root it again to gain root access.

there is no special super wipe,just wipe data, delvik caches,factory reset etc,then install your rom.if there is bug,then it may be from the rom

hello, yr problem occurs as a result of corrupt application. If you don't wanna format yr phone, jst kip trying to switch it on, when its finally on, wait for it to load all yr apps and look for any app dat shows d default green android icon, delete it and dats all

go to your settings and activate unknow source to enable you install apps download from else where.without this done,you won't be able to install any android apps download from third party apart from playstore.depending on the android version you can either go to settings=developer,then scroll down,you will see unknown source,just tick it.or go to settings=security,then scroll down,you will see unknown source.you don't need rooting.
