biafrandream: Umunwa bucha pino pino. I love Enugu. I just love how these new artists promote their states. Looks like we are entering a new period where Igbos have understood the crucial importance of being proud of their language and homeland here in SE. Than the previous practice of speaking English and showing all these cities outside the east in their warped belief that it makes them to appear modern. I am ecstatic about this trend. INNOisBACK: Nothing to be impressed about here ^^^How can you say that when you've not seen everything, or the finished product!? @Pics: I thought the entire structure will have a glass cladding, so how comes all the concrete? Also, the design looks different from what we saw in the one render available.....or is it just me? I like what i see so far though! It's massive! 2 Likes |

IGBOSON1: How can you tell what part of the building will have glass cladding? I've actually been there - what is on ground reflects the architectural drawings. |

Is there any 3D structural drawing of what this on-going Enugu International Airport would look like? I have scoured online but can't seem to come up with anything. |
Stop living in delusion bro. Work on that airport stalled on Stella's exit, and the new guy seems not to care![/q The guy was quoted as saying that Stella's airport remodeling is not part of his agenda. According to him, he is more interested in airport safety. The Sokoto Caliphate warned Jonathan against siting any meaningful project in south-east including the airport. After 2015 I will remind everyone what i said about the airport. It is a political bait for Jonathan. Even if he stays in govt for the next 50 yrs, the story of that airport won't change. Please, let's talk of something else. I have personally given up on nigeria. 1 Like |

The new minister said and i quote ' I see that my predecessor had done very well in the terminal buildings, so all that we need is to focus and complete the work that has already started. But with that, we want to pull our resources away from the terminal remodelling and focus more on the security and safety of airports'. As you can see from his statement he has no intention of stopping what has already been started, besides the finance comes from the Chinese banks who are also building them. Please lets have patience airports are not built in months, the completion and handover date for the new terminal is September 2015. 3 Likes |

In hidsight, Oduah's first eighteen months was equally not easy in the hands of her own people. Some of us, like it's being witnessed now on Chidoka, castigated the poor woman to the extent that nasty words were used on her person. There was so much nostalgia about her predecessor Fidelia Njeze. But today, Oduah has gone down as the most productive minister for the Igbo nation. Lessons learnt: A highly political and controversial position like that of the Minister of Aviation in Nigeria means an appointee should be given a little break to adjust to the job and most importantly the politics that comes with the office. OK, let's assume for a second that Chidoka was quoted right, Is the new AIIA under going remodeling? No, it is not in that classification. If there was any power left in the Caliphate, GEJ wouldn't be in Aso Rock let alone feathering for the 2015 polls. Chidoka is a Coal city boy. He knows what is at stake; just give him time. 8 Likes |

Mind you, if Jonahtan is interested in building that airport, it wouldn't take more than one year. |

That airport terminal building is being built by the Chinese - it is independent of Stella's remodeling efforts. They promised to complete it next year. 2 Likes |
