But in all Ogwugwu Iyi refers to the village in that area that was shortened to Ogui as Enugu developed.

I just love how these new artists promote their states. Looks like we are entering a new period where Igbos have understood the crucial importance of being proud of their language and homeland here in SE. Than the previous practice of speaking English and showing all these cities outside the east in their warped belief that it makes them to appear modern.

They might be doing a lot of internal work - having almost finished the superstructure.

The project is more or less abandoned. No difference so far!

Stella left in February - and trust me, this wasn't how the airport terminal looked then. I took pictures.

How can you tell what part of the building will have glass cladding? I've actually been there - what is on ground reflects the architectural drawings.

Is there any 3D structural drawing of what this on-going Enugu International Airport would look like? I have scoured online but can't seem to come up with anything.

The guy was quoted as saying that Stella's airport remodeling is not part of his agenda. According to him, he is more interested in airport safety. The Sokoto Caliphate warned Jonathan against siting any meaningful project in south-east including the airport. After 2015 I will remind everyone what i said about the airport. It is a political bait for Jonathan. Even if he stays in govt for the next 50 yrs, the story of that airport won't change. Please, let's talk of something else. Please lets have patience airports are not built in months, the completion and handover date for the new terminal is September 2015.

Yea, handover is after Jonathan's election. Well we will see. Mind you, if Jonahtan is interested in building that airport, it wouldn't take more than one year.

That airport terminal building is being built by the Chinese - it is independent of Stella's remodeling efforts. They promised to complete it next year.
