bayooooooo: Femi Gbajabiamila understands the rules of managing scandal. Tell it all, tell it fast, tell the truth all at once. He has a good political future.

Exactly and he has just won my heart. Never even knew he existed before now. How I wish the retardeen can also come out and clean about his wife money laundering case the efcc had against here when they were in bayelsa. Instead of doing that, he will unleash his attack dogs.
Am convinced Gbaja has nothing to hide.

princenayo: Listen to this criminal mixing up issues here tying to confuse Nigerians. Is high time we began to question the authenticity of ur credentials. U Answer Gbaja here and answer Gbajabiamila in there.

Am sure you didn't read what he wrote, please go back & read. In Waec most times, you read the passage again & again before attempting the questions & that's no crime @ all.

Maybe not until we learn that "Mr Gbaja," the thief actually spent time in prison or some similar dark secret.

Goodluck Jonathan should stop listening to dumb adviser. No need for the side show, he should not go round looking for Davids. Now that he seems to get use to his new found golaith shoes, he wear them and stop slinging pebbles.

I think Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has stated his own case and explained the whole issue. It is now left for those who brought up this issue in the first place to counter his claim with more facts if they have or are privy to any.

As for me o, like I always say... I WILL ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH LIKE I SEE IT.

Having read this, the man did what he needed to do.

Everyone makes a mistake, even our bosses in our line of work entrust us with so much secrets, confidence, and hope we can act on their behalf and make right decisions in their absence. I see nothing wrong in it. I only fault him for NOT following up on his paralegal, nevertheless, silly mistakes such as the one he made are not uncommon.

The man was sanctioned, his bar license was "SUSPENDED" not "REVOKED", which like he said, he still has the right and authority to practice law under Georgia law, so what's the big deal? The man paid his dues and punishment, and is still in good standing, I think that's what important.

The mere fact that he acted upon receiving the letter from GA bar, flew to the U.S. to resolve it, it shows that this man is of integrity. Like he said, why would he loose his bar license and risk being arrested for a meager 33% of 25,000? It makes no sense, I mean, he had an option to damn the consequences, but he did not... That's a man of integrity and valor.

Finally, with regards to name change? So fuc/king what he shortened his name? angry angry angry I've see names here that have been shortened for easier accommodation in as long as original documentations carried his original names. When did shortening of name become a crime in the U.S.?

In all, I do not know this man nor I care about him, but if these are the allegations against him, these allegations are petty and stu/pid. People need to get a job and quit it. Like I said, he's a man of integrity.

Delafruita:
its normal that africans modernise their names for easy pronunciation.my father changed his name afolabi to afo while in the UK.that didnt stop him from using afolabi when he finally relocated to nigeria on a permanent basis.its ridiculous to say a man is a fraud because he shortened his name.
question is did the man flee goergia?NO
did he leave a forwarding address?YES
did he return to georgia when he was informed?YES
did he accept responsibility?YES
was he punished?YES
has he served his punishment?YES
did he face a jury or judge?NO
is he eligible to practise law in georgia?YES
is he a criminal?NO
has he admitted his wrongdoing?YES.he highlighted the incident in a book published last month even before peedeepee decided to start digging
.why are some morons still hellbent on ranting
good point

There's no need for him to produce his name, after all when he flew into the U.S. to resolve this issue, he presented ALL evidence exonerating him from all wrongdoing. He was ONLY cited for violating attorney-client responsibility. Besides, for the bar association to write him a letter, there was probably a police investigation involved. All his records does show his paralegals name/signature on certain office files.

If the people who're accusing him wish to know the name of the paralegal, it's simple. Get an attorney + a private investigator who will work together and subpoena for records for the bar association, I'm certain that given 30 days or less, they will have the report sent to them via FEDEX or UPS intact...

Besides, all his accusers need to read this book - "When to speak up and when to shut up".

As far am I concerned it people believe what they choose to believe or else how can one seem to rationalize with Mr Gbaja flippant excuse to a case of Fraud or professional negligence on his part. After all he presents himself as if he is a an anti meticulous anti corruption crusader fighting on the side of the masses in the house. It is curious to note that he waited 3 years before realizing that he his client had not received his money and he left his legal practice to a mere secretary to wind down and traveled all the way to Nigeria without leaving his client a forwarding address. He did not even clear the issue until he realized that he was going to be disbarred for unprofessional conduct accepted the charges and settled for a soft landing. He behaved like most of the corrupt politicians who settle for plea bargaining and I am sure that he is no different from them.
