CONTINUATION
At exactly 12weeks i started bleeding. I went for a scan on the 14th of December 2017 and the scan result shows that it was ectopic pregnancy. I went to the hospital and saw the owner who is a surgeon, i showed him the result and he told me that the only option is surgery. And had it been that the pregnancy is 10weeks, he would have given me injection. On the 15th of December we did the surgery at exactly 10:00am. God is really faithful to me despite my unfaithfulness to him. Immediately doctor cut me open, one of my fallopian tube ruptured. After six months of the surgery, i got pregnant again and this time around i started dropping again at 9weeks coupled with cramping. I went back to the doctor and he gave me Boscopam for the cramping and said i should have bed rest for 1week which i did and that settles everything, till 25th of April; i started seeing show which wasn't missed with blood. Because of my previous experience i decide not to go to the hospital until i start feeling contraction. So i wake up in the morning the next day being 26th and saw a big show that is dark red, and i started feeling cramp like menses. I take a hot bath dressed up and went to hospital, i reached there by 10:45am. I saw the doctor on duty, she checked me and said that i have dilated up to 4cm. So i started walking round the hospital premises calling on God to come and make everything easy for me and He had my prayers. They came and check me again by 12:30pm and said it is 5cm, so doctor inserted something which he said will help me dilate fast. The thing fall out by 1:25pm and i started feeling as if i want to poo, so they take me to the theater;checked me again and is already 8cm and they ask me to start pushing. My son came out by 2:50pm weighing 3.5kg with a nice episiotomy cut which is yet to heal. It can only be God who did this miracle for me. May His Name be praised now and forevermore... Amen

BS
PART 1
It all started 2015 when i had my first son. On the 20th of Sept. i saw show when i went to the bathroom to ease myself around 8:30pm; but, it wasn't missed with blood. As a firsttime mum and dad who are eager to meet their bundle of joy we rush to the hospital that night. On reaching there, i saw the doctor and he examined me and told me that it was a false alarm that we should go home and relax that if the show missed with blood, i should come back. We went back home, but i couldn't sleep due to discomfort. The next day being 21st i went back to the hospital for my ante natal checkup, i saw another doctor he examined me and told me that he is going to admitt me that am already 2cm and that was around 4:00pm. So i went upstair with one of the nurses on duty, she put me on drip and meanwhile i wasn't feeling any contraction at all. Immediately the drip finished the contraction kick start around 7:00pm. They came and check me again and said that it was only 5cm, i saw hell on earth till the next morning. As God may have it i gave birth to my son via cs weighing 3.5kg. Fast forward to 2017. I got pregnant and had a miscarriage after three months and that was on August. After the AF on October, i got pregnant again.

Gudmorning mama! I went to look for a shop yesterday. I saw two shops, one is (4000) a month and the other is (3,500) a month to be paid 1year and 6months. Agreement fee is (10,000) Agent fee is (7,000). Which will be in all (80,000) and (89,000) respectively.

Amen. God bless you too.

I know nothing about the cost of renting a shop in owerri. can you spend the next few days going around key locations (popular markets, busy residential areas) and find out how much it costs to rent a shop inclusive of all agency and legal fees?

Your findings will determine whether or not you can afford to rent a place from the 200k and still have considerable money left to invest in the business itself.

Once you make your findings, post here and quote me and I will try to respond as soon as possible.

That said, the problem with renting for a startup business is that if one is not careful, it's very easy to incur huge running expenses (rent, local government taxes, security, electricity bill, generator running costs, association fees/levies,etc) which can just erode whatever profit the business is making.

For a business to be successful, there must be a very good profit margin or high volume of sales or both whilst keeping expenses to the barest minimum.

I already have some business ideas in mind and how you can do a small business pilot/test run some ideas before you choose the one you think is most suitable for you with the highest profit margin and then concentrate on that.

Ok ma. I will do just that and get back to you.

erm. . . . to provide suitable suggestions, please do you mind answering the following questions?

1)what part of nigeria do you stay?
I'm currently in Owerri, Imo State.
2)what is your educational background?
I obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Office Technology And Management (OTM) from Institute Of Management And Technology (IMT) Enugu,Enugu State.
3)will you describe yourself as an introvert or extrovert?
Due to my way of life, i can say that I'm an extroverted in some situations and introverted in others.
4)how many kids have you got and what are their ages?
I have only one child and he will be 1year and 6months on the 22nd of this month by Grace of God.
5)will you be able to sort out childcare arrangements during the day as this will allow you focus on your business?
Yes.
6)what are your hobbies/interests?
I enjoy reading, writing, Singing and cooking.
7)are you active on social media (especially instagram, twitter and snapchat)
I'm not that active to be honest.
8 ) can you describe yourself as creative or fashionable?
I can say that i am creative at least . Because , being creative is thinking, identifying, exploring, understanding, experimenting, discovering, creating and establishing a new idea which was non existent in new form.
business is not all about buying and selling goods. you can also provide services and make cool cash. for example, organising home lessons for kids is a provision of service. operating a creche is a provision of service.

there is cool cash to be made in Nigeria these days if you know how to go about it.

i will give you a few examples:

1)there is a lady that charges 30,000 a month, £100 a month and $140 a month for people who want to lose weight. all she does is provide meal plan, coaching, mentoring, exercise routine, etc. these services are provided via WHATSAPP!! if you want a face to face consultation, then she charges more. this lady is based in nigeria but she has clients all over the world and she is making cool cash.

her selling point? HERSELF !! she was able to lose weight and she started her business by posting 'before and after pictures' on INSTAGRAM !! from there people started contacting her, she began posting pictures of people on instagram she had successfully coached and lost weight. she is constantly advertising her services on instagram during her FREE instagram account.

now just imagine if she has 5 subscribers a month to her weight loss plan. ignore her rates in pounds and dollars. that's a cool 150,000 NAIRA!! meanwhile, a 'new class' starts every week. so just imagine if she has just 2 customers a week.

2)i found my current tailor from a picture posted by bellanaija on INSTAGRAM. the last time she sewed for me, she charged me 20k for skirt and blouse undecided (express service sha). for non-express service she charges nothing less than 10k and trust me she has got lots of customers. you know the funny thing, SHE DOES NOT SEW!!! all she does is sketch a design (or just shows the customer a previously sketched design) and then she passes it on to the girls she recruited to sew for her (she has got a shop). she also supervises them to make sure the dress is sewn properly.
once a client wears one of designs, she uploads a picture and quickly tags bellanaija. if she is lucky, bellanaija reposts it.

3)you find people on social media selling bowls of assorted stew, soups, jollof rice, etc. i stumbled on one recently that advertises fried snails, panla, fried offals, etc which she packages and ships to clients in Nigeria and all around the world.

starting a business is not always easy. however, if you are good at what you do, versatile and consistent, the business will succeed.

Thank you! Am really greatful for everything. May people like you never depart from me especially in this thread. May God continue to enrich you with more wisdom and Bless your Family...IJN... Amen!

C C you.
Modified* sorry I couldn't find the post.

You could however go into raw food sales it's one of the businesses I think you can do with that amount and get returns immediately! People eat everyday.

Another option is selling drinks, cold drinks is always a catch in this hot weather.

However take a look around the areas you plan on setting up the biz and see whats in demand or you think will move well and start from there good luck sis! Please wish me same o cos I'm setting up something too but daily inflation rate is killing me already and I haven't even started phew. It is well.

Well noted. Thank you very much, i wish you gud luck to all your endeavours. May God see us through... Amen!

How long has he been able to stand? If it's only recently, it's normal for the legs to be a bit shaky and wobbly as he is still learning to find his balance and get used to the "feeling" that he can actually stand.

Sometimes it's also due to fear/confidence. Being able to stand with support is a major milestone and it takes a few attempts, falls and bumps for your baby to get used to standing supported or unsupported confidently.

That said, what is his feeding like? Is he still on milk? Formula or breast milk? I personally believe that babies should be on milk (breast milk or formula or preferably both) for the first 12 months of their life. This is because they need all the calcium they can get from milk. Calcium is vital in babies for strong bones as well as growth. For example, my son gets at least 100ml of formula at least four times a day. This is minus morning, evening and night time breast milk. He took his first walking steps unaided (although wobbly at the time) at 9 months.

If he's not drinking formula, do you add formula to his cereals? What is his source of calcium?

If you can get his feeding right and ensure he has a steady source of calcium, you do not need any drugs/multivitamin. With time (next few weeks), he will be able to stand confidently and also start taking his first few steps.

If however you are sure he has a steady source of calcium, then speak to your peadrictrian to prescribe a calcium supplement for you (which I really doubt they will).

Tanz 4 ur response ma am, its actually recently he starts standing with support.
I thought may be his bones are not strong enough.
He feeds every 3hours and he's not on bm, he stops bm on his own at 4months. He is on formula and he don't like drinking it ordinarily so, i make sure i put enough milk in his cereals.

Have you tried adult foods? Some children accept it more readily than cereals. Foods like mashed potatoes, amala or semo.with ewedu no stew

Fish, indomie with little or no spice etc etc..

Just try it may work.

I'v started giving him adult foods and he likes it more than baby foods. The only cereal he likes eating now is cerelac dat is meant for babies dat are up 1year. I tank God he is adding weight small small.

Do you add milk to his cereals even the ones plus milk.
Give him egg yolk.
When you mix his pap, add a little butter.
Titus fish is sweet and oily. If he can eat half in a day, that's good.
BM all thru the night after eating a solid dinner.
My 6 months old fluctuates between 6-6.5 kg, buh she doesnt look underweight.
