Politics / Re: What Should Account Holders Of The Five Banks Do? by adybabs: 11:45am On Aug 19, 2009
its actually depend on the size and motive of your funds in those banks. believe me, if you have your life savings; all you ve worked for or money that keeps your business and home going, your best bet is to move to where at least the regulators have said is safe.

certainly, there would be a run on  the banks. customer would shift, this would affect the cash flow in the short run but later stabilize with the bailout money. stabilization would only happen after  a bit of confidence is restored and the banks resume provision of loans/credit. this is necessray to attract both old and new customers.

then the banks will have to put a good risk management structure in place.

Obviously this site is beginning to lose sight of its original objective.i ve a feeling this site is full of tribals, people just send views that lack objectivity.

i can asume that lots of members are teenagers, immature and most likely foreigners or people that have spent so much of their years outside the country.

truly, we are not enjoying good leadership at the moment but i cannot support any form of criminalities or taking arms against my country. the best of freedom and justice are not won by voilence.we ve heard the life of great mahatma ghandhi and martin luther king of the blessed memory

@fyneguy, yu are correct.

i have a feeling the poster is falling already. i can see shes going for the deal at all cost except we at nairaland salvage the situation and let her understand that if her home brakes, the job will eventually go because of the experience and employer gets a replacement for her position in a second.
Politics / Re: Vision 20 20 20: A Myth Or A Daydream? by adybabs: 4:44pm On Jul 06, 2009
i honestly dont bother when i hear vision this, vision that. with a single step or direction of the government, you would obviously know the vision. nothing has really worked since the inception of this governemnt.

we need somebody like FASHOLA OF LAGOS to give us the first step.
Politics / Re: Delta Governor Locks Out Officials For Coming Late by adybabs: 1:39pm On Jun 23, 2009
GOOD TO HEAR THAT THE GOV IS TAKING A LEAF FROM GOVERNOR FASHOLA OF LAGOS. SINCE INCEPTION, OUR LAGOS ACTION MAN HAS NOT TOLERATED ANY FORM OF LATE COMING.

IN LAGOS, ITS STRANGE TO SEE GOVT OFFICIALS COMING LATE FOR WEEKLY EXCO MEETINGS. LAGO TRAFFICK-JAM IS NOT EVEN AN EXCUSE.

SOME GOVERNORS NEED TO BE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO TAKE AFTER SOME GOOD THINGS HAPPENING IN LAGOS. smiley smiley smiley smiley

@ OXONE,

May God almighty reward you abundantly. please any reference to a particular doctor or hospital in Nigeria?

thank you lots
Health / Hemorrhoids, Pile: What Are They? by adybabs: 9:57am On Jun 19, 2009
please doctors in the house should explain if Hemorrhoids and piles are terminal ailments. i have a friend that has been living with this ailment for the past 17 years now. he actually pushes the anus back with his finger after using the toilet.

the last time he visited the hospital was when the doctor advise him to prepare for surgery. he has the notion that the success of the surgery is 50-50 chance and the consequence is either uncontrollable excretion or erection of his manhood.

please advise,

@ The criteria for nomination was based on selfless service; enduring achievements; sincerity of purpose; resilience; patriotism; uprightness; respectability and incorruptibililience; patriotism; uprightness; respectability and incorruptibi.

please the winners should be asked to declare their assets, produce their CURRENT TAX RETURNS before issuance of the AWARDS.  I believe 2 or none will show up up for collection. this will go a long way in knowing if they ARE  truly PATRIOTIC.
Politics / Re: What I Would've Told Yar'adua If He Was On Nairaland by adybabs: 3:28pm On Jun 02, 2009
ASK HIM WHY HONOUR DOES NOT EXIST IN OUR SOCIETY COS IF IT DOES, HE SHOULD VE RESIGNED B4 D SECOND ANNIVERSARY. ABSOLUTELY, NOTHING IS MOVING AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL. THANKS TO FASHOLA FOR THE LITTLE HOPE AND GIANT STRIDE. angry angry
Education / Re: Would You Help Your Children To Cheat In Exams? by adybabs: 4:23pm On May 26, 2009
the irony of it all is that it is the mother that encourage the crime most. why?

1. they always think they love the child most
2. they may see it as a way to impress the father, friends and d likes worst still when the it is a polygamous home. serious competition

father rarely do it though they may tend to stylishly push it to the mother.

in rating, football in isreal is nothing. we can only know his true fitness when he comes to the major leagues: there, he will be tested with people like ronaldo, messi and the rest.
