A friend of mine had argued with me that one can combine WAEC and NECO (for 2 sittings) and I told him you can only combine WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO and their GCE equivalent. I know of someone who gained admission to UNIBEN last year via 2 sittings and they were NECO + NECO GCE. Pls what is the appropriate thing here?

Please help me out! I did my UNIBEN PUME registration immediately the forms were out but unfortunately my passport photograph refused to come up on my slip after submitting. We did all we could to rectify the problem but the picture refused to come up. I am really worried now because I wouldnt want to be disturbed on the day of the exam because of that. Please what do you think I do. Although, I have printed out the new Slip - the one containing the new dates, venue and time.

I want to seize this opportunity to appeal to those of us who have information on Universities conducting Post Ume for candidates who did not choose such schools as their first or second choice to feed us with such up-dates. Its real 'cos I just confirmed from their site. Please I saw something on the sight that kinda baffled me. I discovered that Lasu requires MATHS as a UME Subject for Political Science whereas it wasn't indicated on the JAMB Brochure. I'm confused!

People, I just need your help here and its really urgent. I am a first time Jambite and I passed my UME real good but preparing for the Post UMEs, as they are rightly called.

The thing is I chose UNIBEN as my First Choice and LASU, my Second Choice. While my First Course of Study is Law, my Second Course of Study is Politcal Science.

My confusion stems from a discussion i had with a another Jambite who said that I can only do the screening test for Pol. Science in Lasu while I do Law in Uniben and I had thought I was going to write Law in both since that is my First Choice.

Please I want to proceed with Lasu PUME registration and I'm stuck as to which course to put as first in Lasu as well as the Second. Please I want anyone who has written two POST UMEs the same year to tell me how it's done.

As far as I'm concerned, Ilove this girl, but am only confused owing to the fact that I have never encountered such a "type" of hard-to-get. I know they might delay telling you how the feel, sometimes even telling you No when they literally mean YES which you only get to discover after some persistence.

Please I need mature opinions. There's this girl whom we 've been friends since when were staying in my hood and tey later changed location. Few months back, i bumped into her in her cousins' place and there was that atmosphere of someone you 've missed for a while, I mean on her part.

To cut the story short, we echanged numbers again 'cos I didnt have her number again due to my once faulty phone. After few days, I called her and we 've been talking. Meanwhile, one day we did extracool and we talked interestingly for hours on the phone and I got to realised she has not dated a guy before 'cos accoring to her, she has this feeling that guys are only out to have SEX and nothing more.

And all along, I could see every sign in her being that she likes me especially the way she plays with her hair, eye contact, laughing at my "unfunny jokes" and the likes. Consequently, I went ahead an asked her out and for days, she refused taking my calls. Three days ago, I was just playing with my phone when i incidentally dialled her digits and I let her know how she's not been taking her calls and she was like, she's been busy, not always with her phone everytime and stuffs like that. Although, there was still that air of our usual fun and playfulness when we were talking.

Should I still go ahead with my game or I should simply ignore her? Thanx people.

So she is interested. She just has not had a chance to call. I have taken up to 4 weeks to call a dude because of life. U see. U must be one of those unserious chaps in school. Your parents did their best at least to push you into school and you are there doing things that wouldn't add value to your life. I know you must be one of those DIE-HARD cultists on campus who see the school as an avenue to express their "freedom".

Well, the only thing you can do is to complete your programme, and acquire other relevant skills with recognised certifications so as to boost your value.

My advise to everyone still remains: Never take your 100 Level for granted. Do whatever you can to finish year 1 with something great and by the time you get to 200, everything suddenly appears like a plane that had just gone past the point of gravity.

People, dont you see this as plain stupid? There is this chic in my hood whom we happened to board a bus at the same bus stop. Incidentally, I couldn't withdraw money via my ATM Card the prievious day and so i was left with just 300 on me that would get me to V/I "by faith" with the hope that i would withdraw some money afterwards. Consequently, i couldn't pay for her. Now could you imagine that she's kind of growing cold with regards to how she relates with me? I just think its immature on her part.

I hail from Edo state and i intend going for Uniben and Ekpoma-AAU. Pls which of these should i make 1st or 2nd choice and what and what is generally expected of me? I intend going for Masscomm.

Its a Uni that's running the A" Level programme and there is assurance of getting to 200 lvl next year after successfully completing the programme. the thing is one needs to write the entrance exam and secure admission to run the program.
