Most importantly, pray to God to help you train them up in His way. Until this happens, you'll regret sending them even to Harvard University. The major thing that opens ANY door to ANY man/woman is God's favor/mercy. Keep this very jealously; "God do not always choose the qualified, but qualifies the chosen". #Dipo!

This is why I will never join any protest. My life is too precious to waste for nothing. If only she knew it would end like this, she would've stayed back in her room. See the kind of sorrow and pain she's caused her mom. Good luck Jonathan was never part of the Niger delta struggle but he was the greatest beneficiary of the struggle. You don't have to be part of the struggle to benefit from it.

As much as I would have agreed with your point of view bro, it is also very pertinent to remember that some people have died right in their houses/shops due to stray bullets. It only takes God's mercy and fear in us to be safe. It's not about our smart or careful or vigilant we are, but His mercy and watch over us. See what the pretty lady turned to in death. Isaiah 40:7-8 is very true, I must say; ".......surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever"! Then, the song came to me;

Fading away like the starts of the morning
Losing their lights in the glorious sun
Thus would we pass from the earth and it's toiling
Only remembered by what we have done.

Only remembered, only remembered
Only remember by what we have done
Thus would we pass from the earth and it's toiling
Only remembered by what we have done.

Only the truth that in life we have spoken
Only the seed that on earth we have sown
These shall pass onward when we are forgotten
Ever remembered by what they ave done.

What will you have to give as excuse when you meet your Creator? That you never heard? That you didn't know it would end like that? This might be a timely warning for you. And it might be the last opportunity for another reading this. There's nothing as sure as death (which can come ANYTIME). Neither is anything as real as heaven and hell. Settle with you Maker, He's ever merciful and willing to take us. May her gentle soul RIP! And may her mom be consoled!

Some prophecies happen several years later. Paul wasn't just a hater of believers, he murdered them in large quantity. Yet, he became a mighty instrument in God's hand. He wrote most of the books in the New Testament. If that prophesy is truly from God, you've got nowhere to run sir. Take my word for it!

Eeya! It is understandable. I'm sure you didn't enter primary one till you were 10. But, maybe you need to know that in some families, some children are preparing to enter JSS1 at the age of 8. This is the good news actually; You can break the yoke on your own children!

When the MOG saw me, he just said that "I shouldn't worry, that my admission into the university will work out this year"....

Very possible he saw you in your convocation gown and had no wisdom yet to know what it was meant for. Not all prophets are fake, I must say. A lot of them truly see and hear from God. Though, some are wolves amongst the sheep!

The truth is; the prophet might be correct as at the time of prophesy. But, God has the final say. It is very possible that he wouldn't have done well academically, if he had accepted it hook, line and sinker. The lesson is; with the violence of faith, you can change every negative destiny or agenda over your life. "For with God, NOTHING shall be impossible"; Luke 1:37!

She has got five credits required for admission into higher institution of learning. (English and maths inclusive!). That's good. Take the JAMB brochure and search for courses that her result qualifies for. Let her go for that. It's not actually what one studies that matters these days, but how good her graduating grade is. With a good 2.1, she will be good to go in any field of endeavour. Good luck.

You are very correct bro! The only set back I could see is that out of the 5 credits, 2 are wide apart; Government and Commerce. These two subjects are meant for 2 different professions. She had just 3 general subjects; Maths, English and Biology. Then, 2 subjects of different fields; Commerce(Commercial class) and Government(Art class). I wish she had Economics instead of Government or Lit-in-English instead of Commerce, as the case may be.

My piece of advice; I'll suggest she writes the exams again, and go for a better result. She shouldn't give in so soon. Unless there's no fund for it. I wish her the very best of God in life. #'Dipo!

This is one of the reasons I'm now getting this understanding; "dress do not make us, rather we make the dress"! You don't have to expose anything to be admired or respected. In fact, the more simple/moderate a person appears the more likely loaded he/she is internally. People use "blin blin" to cover up their emptiness!

You are lucky to have found a good guy who will likely guide you to the best destination for you at the end. I sincerely congratulate you! He's an example of men who don't care about what people think or say. It's all about doing what pleases God and not what "makes sense". I melt within me when I see beautiful ladies/women appear natural; it depicts honor/dignity/virtue! Such women have something concrete/tangible/deep to offer. Not those who cover up emptiness. This is why marriage isn't a game of luck or trial and error thing. Several women are wolves in sheep clothing, and vice versa. It is obvious that she was never interested in him, but his possessions. I think there should be a separation between christians; mere church attendants, who only fill/take/answer christianity as a religion, and believers/disciples; those who by His grace, continue in His word..... "Take heed, beware of covetousness, a man's life consists not in the abundance of things he possesses". External beauty, six packs, broad shoulders, straight legs, height, etc....are the least to consider while making the irreversible decision. I'm so grateful to God for being merciful unto me!!

So true.

I know two sisters who used to use weavons and relaxers and decided to stop using them two years back including jewelries. Now everyone around them who don't dress or act like them is a sinner. They don't wear trousers, earrings, necklaces or use relaxer on their hair yet one of them got married three months ago with pregnancy. She used hair clips and also wears ring now(what is the difference between the hair clip, ring and the earrings and necklace she has stopped wearing)? Is wearing of those things sin while fornication isn't?

Some people just keep deceiving themselves.

See, we should stop deceiving ourselves, rather keep on calling a spade a spade. This isn't about religion, but what's right and reasonable. Starting with the two ladies you cited, they just didn't understand that christianity is a personal race/conviction/dealing with God. Our pastor (Founder) said he was using necklace while he was growing up as a christian. But, he got convinced along the line and stopped. There are some habits/traits that as you dig deep in the word, get closer to the spirit (personally) you'll do away with. This can't be forced/rubbed on people. No, it can't! I always believe; God that took it away from me will also deal with him/her when the time is right. But, there are some basic principles and rules that applies to everybody in general; we aren't permitted to bring worldly things (songs, dances, dress, slang, etc) into the presence of God. That's the point!

Twitter is a social network to make friends and all so she has every right to seek for a partner if she so wishes..

At least she is well covered in the first pics and didnt expose unneccesary parts..

Young lady, May God provide you a caring husband but dont let your expectations be too much and start by replying those dms from that guy too...

"At least she is well covered in the first pics and didnt expose unneccesary parts.."; hear yourself out bro. "In the first pics". What about the second? She was dull enough to show her true identity in both physical appearance and body language. I'm not surprised anyways. @obixcel, I'm not going to argue with you on that. The more you study the scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit in you to reveal the truth to you , your knowledge will increase.
If you study the scriptures carefully, the more you sin, grace of God to overcome them much more increases (Rom 5:20)
This is not meant to encourage sinning but to show you God has put the power in you through the help of the Holy Spirit to live above sin.
To be candid, no one is perfect. We're all depending on the grace of God to keep living a life of holiness.
Trust the grace of God today and not your self effort to live holy
You're blessed!

This is complete heresy! Absolute error!! Please, if you don't have a deep understanding of God's word, you had better keep mute and stop causing confusion for yourself and innocent readers. Open your eyes wide and read this passage; "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God"; 1John3:9! That sin/sinner you are quoting wrongly isn't referring to those who have been saved. It refers to those who still haven't been to Jesus for the cleansing of sin. Grace is available to locate them and save/redeem them. Believers are saved by faith THROUGH grace. That's the same grace that the bible says abound amongst sinners. Get it right bro.... And don't be cheated!

Let me also mention very quickly, with the view to balancing things up here, that even the yet committed sin, Jesus died for them. That is why a saint that derail/back-slide can still get back on track. That the efficacy/provision of the blood; to cleanse us from our mistakes/stains/errors/errs/etc.

Even though, Britain may be better than Ghana you don't have to gloat about it while betraying your country. No it is not a sin. I challenge anyone who says other wise to Cite a bible verse saying its a sin. Don't forget that the first miracle of Christ was turning water to wine. There are also health benefits to drinking wine in moderation. Getting drunk tho is shameful and condemned in the bible.

No. But it condemns drunkenness as it condemns gluttony, sloth, greed etc

If it did Christ would have mentioned it.

Hope this helps. Dude if u can't drink without getting drunk then for sanity sake don't drink.

Invariably, you are simply telling others (and maybe yourself inclusive), who can "manage"/"control" themselves after some bottles to continue; it is not a sin?! The truth is, you don't even have to tell a genuine born again (spirit-filled) before he/she will stop. The bible says the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. God searches the heart and judges the reason(s) for our actions. The question is; "why are you taking alcohol/beer? Or "why must you take alcohol/beer"?

So pharisees were carrying mohawk to church and dancing kerewa there?

You have just displayed phareeseism in todays's Christians. Don't judge others or question how they serve God. You are nobody to determine the right way of serving.

Do your own and leave the shoki dancers to do theirs

Shut your mouth up girl! The young man raised a very salient issue that needs to be addressed in the christendom and there you are criticizing him. If you are affected by the words of wisdom he spoke, then amend your ways. You can never mix the things of the world with the things of God. How can a true believer dance shoki? He can't! The truth is; "songs/dancing steps that came from heaven know the way back to heaven". Where did shoki/skelewu/alanta/etc come from? From God? Of course not! They are from the pit of hell. That's why we no longer see God come down after praise/worship like before. Because people don't pass the four walls of church, let alone reaching heaven. We are in the world, but we have been told not to be of the world.
