Is there even any link between depression and mood swing or are they the same? What is the way(s) out? Psychiatrists or psychologists or anyone with substantial insight on these should enlighten me,please. |

At that age,you should concentrate in building your life, the future isn't far away any longer. Face your studies as well as acquire as much skills as you can,you are a young man,you should know how to hustle legitimately though. Don't forget to make contacts with different people, some would help in the long run. Don't take what you see seriously;the fast cash, cars, clothes, fame and women aren't real. Wait your time! Good luck! |

Don't you have a home? Just pack your stuffs and go to your parents house before things get out of hand if they haven't already. Your elder sister wouldn't always be understanding and nice to you through out all this. PS;I think you 'like' your sister's husband. |
Family / Re: Have You Ever Forgotten You Child Or Ward In School Till It Becomes Dark? by Amari(f): 3:43pm On Nov 02, 2013 |
I don't believe I ever would, was frequently forgotten in primary school with my younger sister by my dad and we always had to trek the long distance home. My mum wasn't happy with it at all so she took up the duty. I don't want my kids to have the same experience. 1 Like |

Rather than dropping out,why don't you continue with the course and at the same time take JAMB again?? It's risky abandoning what you already have to go for something you don't have yet. In case you don't finally get your dream course,God forbids though, you can continue from where you are are already instead of losing out completely. Remember,a bird at hand is worth two in the bush. I pray you get your dream course. |

Education / Re: Why Do Public School Gals Keep Their Hair Cut? by Amari(f): 11:20am On Oct 21, 2013 |
No offence taken but I'd rather teach my daughter the things that are valuable;things that matter in life;things that determine whether she'll do well in life. She'd learn how to pay attention to quality and not quantity and not whether she values her hair. So at the end she doesn't feel forced into such schools. I appreciate your opinion, anyway. 1 Like |

I really don't know whatever right the government has to do so,I just don't see the big deal about the whole issue,I mean it's hair and it will grow so you have the choice to plait your hair or not once you're through with the school. I personally wouldn't mind sending my daughter to such public schools so long as the educational standard is high. She can decide to train her hair to mammy water length if she decides to after school. I repeat,it's just hair, one of the inconsequentials of life. My opinion though. |

I never felt disadvantaged or discriminated in anyway by carry low cut while I was in secondary school,it actually made us look smart and promoted uniformity in contrast to some private schools where girls wore different hairstyles. By the way, some of us still looked beautiful on low cut. |

Education / Re: What Do You Do After A Bad Test Or Exam? by Amari(f): 11:43am On Mar 10, 2013 |
Once I leave the exam hall,I immediately hurry back to my hostel,I don't even interact with my friends before leaving because I don't want to hear people's different opinions about the exam, they are usually depressing for me,I don't even check the textbook or my note to cross check my answers at that point in time. Once I get to my room,I fall into a very deep sleep,I usually feel better when I wake up. 1 Like |

Funjosh: It is total rubbish and furstrating thing, pls what is the error in this in skul submited my name with my sunname coming first while jamb present my last name first. I just hope they find solution to it quick.Same thing happened to my sister,I simply went to the Student Affairs Division of my school and the person attending to such complaints corrected it in the master list, the following day,my sister was mobilized. So I don't think that's much of a problem,it's what you can rectify by yourself, though I don't know how your school does it. |

Tobbie9: If I had a 2nd chance I'd study elect/elect in d same OAU, rather than Med & Surg which I believe to be overrated and unnecessarily difficult.LWKM,I love the overrated and unnecessarily difficult part, most professional courses if not all are like that. Studying med & surg always pays off @ the end especially when you know your onions. |

Nope,I'll study Economics & Statistics instead of my present course and still in the same institution. God knws I will not encourage any of my children to tow my line of profession, however,I wouldn't stop any of them who wants to do so. |
