A 200-level student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, identified simply as Chioma, has allegedly poured hot water on the president of her hostel, Mark, a third year Agricultural Economics student.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge in Ifite-Awka following a disagreement between both of them over hostel cleaning.

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was learnt that Chioma allegedly stabbed Mark in the process leading to him being taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

A Second Year Student Of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, who was identified as Chioma, has allegedly poured hot water on the president of her hostel, who was identified as Mark.

A Facebook Source, Valentine Mbadugha said the female student also stabbed mark.

The disagreement between both students was said to have started over sanitation on school hostel where both of them habited, where Mark was said to be the hostel president.

The Incident occurred on Saturday, 17th February 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka.

Chioma was said to have reacted violently when Mark reminded him of her duty to join others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean.

Though details of the attack is still sketchy, Mbadugha said Mark had been taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

The State Police Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga could not confirm this as at the time of filing this report.
