Sometimes they are afraid of getting harmed by cultists because those plugs work with security agencies and can get freed easily, then the addicter may get harmed through employed cultists who might go for a dagger or stab.

You're quite correct, most of the young drug runners do belong to one cult group or the other. In fact most of the recent supremacy battle going on between these cult groups, is about who has control over certain territories where alot of money is been made of these illicit drugs.

I was curious if/how Nigerians had access to drugs like crack cocaine. What is more rampant here is addiction to locally made drugs like cannabis and hemp.

So how were you able to fund your addiction?

Crack cocaine has been very much and readily available for years now in every nook and cranny in Nigeria. In fact crack cocaine and crystal meth aka meth are destroying our youths these days.

Politics / Re: Soyombo To Customs: Your Men Have Colluded With Smugglers to move rice Tonight by April4th(m): 9:39pm On Nov 10
ElevationD:
What a pity.

Granted that rice is smuggled everyday, but the allegation seems to be exaggerated.

I do not agree that each car can carry 65 bags of rice. If Soyombo said mini trucks, then that would be understandable. Did he make an error or he did not understand it all?

Hopefully this APC government can allow rice import once again, so that the price of rice can reduce in the markets.

Have you been to any of our land border town before? If you have, then you wouldn't be asking questions or doubting the statement. Have you heard the term "bush loading" before?

The main problem aren’t the dogs themselves but the irresponsible owners that don’t know how to train dogs but will keep them.

Some are so irresponsible to the extent that they laugh when their dogs chase or bark at people. All they will say is “It won’t bite you” “Don’t run”. They don’t even understand dog’s body language.

Restrain your dogs if they start barking at people.

Your statement is very true, most breeders are irresponsible. From the sound of my dogs barking, I can tell if they will attack or if it's just a playful bark and I take the necessary action immediately to avoid stories that touch

I actually do not know where to post this. But I believe I can get the needed traffic and advice here.

Yesterday I read with Sadness, tears and pains about the gruesome murder of a security man by two dogs. Up till this moment, I haven't been myself due to the experiences I've had and the psychological impact of the death of that security guard.

Here is a Brief Experience.

The house I live has no borehole or any source of water. I and other immediate neighbors who occupy same building would go to our neighbors houses to fetch water everyday.
There are three neighbors who have boreholes, say Neighbor A, B and C.
Neighbor A only allows others to fetch water on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Aside these days you won't get water. You can't even go into her compound. She has a tap outside her building where we fetch whenever she puts it ON. On these two days, there must be Power(NEPA light). If there's no power, forget it.

Neighbor B is a pastor who has His church in his Residential Building. If u must enjoy fetching water here, u must be a member of his church, else you won't be given water when there's no light. Anyone can be allowed to fetch if and when there's light, but as soon as light goes off, don't go there except you are a member.

Neighbor C has two heavy dogs(Rottweilers). This is the house I fetch most, cos of my cordial relationship with the owners of the house. When these dogs were brought home, they were just puppies and I was familiar with them, but as they grew older, they became extremely violent. One is Smart, the other is Bella. Bella is female while Smart is Male. Bella is so aggressive. She torments anyone who enters the compound. Neighbors don't go in. Despite the fact that they are caged, they sometimes break out and attack when they hear a stranger's voice in the compound. There was a day these dragons broke out of the cage and before I could realize it, that had come close to me. I had to make a very fast decision, If I had ran to escape through the Gates, they would catch up with me. Thank God, the Tap is very close to the fence of the building. A very tall fence like that of Prison's fence. I had to jump over, even as I was jumping, they almost caught up with my legs. I didn't land properly so I had a dislocation and sustained some bruises.
On a second encounter, they broke out and attacked. I had to climb the overhead water tank to hang in there.
The last one was when I went to fetch water while I was putting on a towel. They attacked again, and I jumped the fence. The towel pulled off my waist and I was naked. I had to quickly run into the room of a neighbor whose house is closer to the fence to cover myself. I felt so embarrassed.
These dogs had already bitten off the penis of a 12 year old boy.
Any cock or hen that innocently strolls into that compound is a goner. The dogs attack the fowl, kill it and eat it. They even jump at a flying Bird and catch, kill and eat.

The dogs almost ate a baby of almost two years if not for the timely intervention of someone. I was told that some dog owners give their dogs ogogoro and weed to take so they can be harsh.
We all must be careful when visiting houses with Dogs. Please.
Thanks for reading.

If you were there when they were brought as puppies, They should have your scent by now? Dogs naturally respects authority, stop showing fear when you're around them otherwise they'll take advantage and attack you.

Mynd44:
As if we didn't know the reason the governors were against the ECA in the first place.

1. The ECA was an illegal account as it had no Legal backing and as such was not supposed to exist in the first place. The FG Opened it without the input of the governors and also did not even discuss it with them. How do you open open a group fund account which will include the monies of sub national governments without their approval or knowledge?

2. The FG was taking money out of the ECA without approval or telling the Governors and LG chairmen who were part owners. The FG in 2014 scandalously told the country it was using the ECA to fund subsidy which the governors refuted and fought against then told them to divest the funds.

Let NOI not rewrite history as we remember the drama of the ECA

Why didn't the governors complain that it was an illegal account when Obasanjo or Yaradua were president? What did the so called governors do with the money, when it was finally shared?

Thats because GEJ was one of the few Presidents that ruled us after you

Jonathan was shit...Under him, billions was wasted for no just cause

I remember Dansuki
I remember Stella Oduah bullet proof cars

Ngozi Okonjo couldnt account for the missing $20m under her

GEJ oversaw the most corrupt practices ever in Nigerian history. The biggest heists too

We should skip his era and erase his name from our history

You people keep mentioning GEJ, what about Buhari? What about Tinubu? At least under GEJ, Nigeria was still the fastest growing economy and number one in Africa. Can the same be said today? What about the corruption under Buhari? Or the one going on currently under Tinubu? Or do you people have selective amnesia? It's easy to remember Dasuki, Stella Oduah and Diezani. But easy to forget ways and means, Dr Betta Edu. Shame on you people. Not until we let go of tribalism, ethnic sentiments and address the Nigerian problems as it is. We will never come out of it

Cantonese:

Warri is definitely not an Ijaw name. It was the colonial masters who called the name Warri go make it easy for pronounciation. The Itsekiris called it Iwerre, among others. So far I have not found the Ijaw or Urhobo names. I am not holding brief for the Itsekiris.

You may please research and clear it.

Thanks.

How can the colonial masters mistake Iwerre for Warri? The name Warri stem from the Ijaws word Wari, which means house or residence. The Itshekiri's are sojourners, you can't claim because they were more educated than the aborigines they met in the town then that makes them automatic owners of the land. The first Olu of itshekiri migrated from Igbesen in Edo state to the town called warri, so what happened to the inhabitants he met? I don't need to research this issue, because I'm both Ijaw and Itshekiri by blood. I've read books and listened to the elders. So this matter has been laid to rest a long time ago and we don't need to resurrect it to cause another communal war. Have you been to Warri lately? The town has not yet recovered from the previous Ijaw/itshekiri crisis and that's the reason there's no proper development in the former oil city.
