design113: Mad pun, don't leave me. Naija rested in peace a long time ago, yesterday keeps getting better. This government has never done anything out of a sincere conscience. Ulterio motives have always been their footstool. Why is it now that election is by the corner?, why ban the BDCs when you have not made any adjustments on the banking mode, everything is geared towards making the citizens face more suffering. Banks will begin crazy preferential tretments, wate people's time, this ban would do more harm than good. How we are paying for wrongs we never commited, its one ill news or the other each day. They just added more difficulty in travel preparations. The worse part is that they know what to do, but they don't want to do it because it will affect the official crimes they commit. They are the one's who glorify these foreign currencies, if they bring down the glory 5 notches down things will be better, but they won't nah. God save us, if only we had an option to select where we were to be born... 1 Like |

As the warriors battle it out on the battle field, arguments have fired as to who would win, a few belive in portugal while soomany throw it up for crotia, of recent portugal have failed to impress their supporters and bet players including me, i hereby give my prediction, corotia would either win or draw their match against portugal, Whats you take? |

Dollyak:what should Rochas have done? The bridge was initiated by Ohakim ie Rochas's predeccesor, who began the construnction at his last days on seat as a campaugn strategy for re-election. Rochas met it as an already existing project, so it is his duty to complete it and that he did, atleast you can ply directly from mcc, ikenegbu etc straight to akwakuma and mechanic village without stress of traffic jam, come on appreciate him for once, dont always see bad in good. |
Family / The Day My Kid Sister Asked Me What Condom Was... by Asiecam05(m): 9:16pm On May 25, 2016 |
i was returning from church that beautiful
sunday afternoon in company of my kid
siblings isioma, kingsley and oluomachi, if i
am not mistaken, isioma was between 11
and 15 years of age and it was during the
early stage of my getting admission into
tertiary. i and my siblings are more than
family, they are soo free to ask what ever
they wanted too, they are related to me
morethan they are too our parents.
We were silently walking back home with
individual thoughts going through our
minds. WHAT WAS I ACTUALLY THINKING?
ruminating on what was preached in
church? no not that, fighting with the
enzymes in my tummy seeking for food to
digest? yea part of. Many things was just
going through my mind, the next minute,
school, the future, family, friends, me, my life,
destiny, people that are looking up to me for
a thing or the other, people i am looking up
to, the light, the darkness, love, hate,
everything, the traffic was getting jammed
in my brain like it normally does when my
sister isioma waked me back to the present
with that gentle inquisitive tone.
"Bro Collins!" she called, i answered her,
"please dont get angry, i want to ask you a
question" she continued, i waited for the
question but the 'dont get angry' in her
statement got me confused, i was actually
off balance and in a flash thoughts of what
might have caused the 'dont angry angry'
temporarily cleared the jam caused by my
previous thoughts and caused the main
holdup. could it be because she believed she
was distracting me from the company of my
individual thoughts?, could it be that she
thought i would see the question as useless
whereby she really needed an answer?, or
maybe i would call her question gossip? i
was yet to answer my questions when she
released the bomb.
''at church today sister Tinna flogged a boy
(she mentioned the name of the boy but i
have forgotten.)'' she began with this
tempting header, tempting because this
kind of approach to asking a question could
make one beg to be asked the question,
what i mean is this, i might have asked
'what did the boy do kwanu?' thereby given
her more strength to throw her bomb. i
didnt ask then she continued "the boy said
he saw a condom in his sister's room"
JEZZ!!! i don die today.
The reason why the small boy was flogged
could be the way he made jest of it to the
hearing of sis Tinna but that is certainly not
the business of today.
From the condom in her statement i had
already pictured where she was driving too
and wished she headed another direction
but ooo noo she drove exactly to where i
imagined and parked her question's vehicle
in the parking lot of where i never wanted
throwing me off balance again with "bro
collins, what is a...." i felt my heart drop three
times before she landed "...condom?" jezz!!!,
capital jezz, was that question for me? why
now? why couldnt she wait till when i
returned from school next time whenever,
she should have asked my mum nahhh,
atleast my mum would be in a better
position to talk to her daughters as a
woman especially in issues of this sort, jezz
what should i tell her now, what reply
should i give?
i have been a child, i have been a teenager, i
have worn her shoes, she inherited the
shoes directly from me as my immediate
younger sibling and i know exactly where
they bite, i used to be and i am still very
inquisitive, one thing i hate is not being able
to atleast aid in any issue that requires my
help and especially when the aid is directly
asked of me. The question really came as a
shocker throwing me off balance and
making me opt to that which i just said i
hate.
this was my reply "omoo leave me alone
joor, go and ask mummy" this was the
dumbest and most stupid reply ever, i didnt
act as a senior, but she respected and cut
the question there soo unsatisfied.
i should have atleast given her a foundation
or posted her till when i am prepared to
give her satisfactory answer, but i bluntly
refused to answer instead i redirected her
to my mum, and i believe she might not have
the effrontery to ask my mum that instead
she would rely on external source that
might give her answer in a negative
dimension or by the Grace of GOD in a
positive way.
My point here is that children are inquisitive
beings, they desire to know all, and when u
dont teach them to avoid mistakes they
become prone to mistakes, donnot shut
them up simply because they asked a
question, because if they knew the answers
to their questions they wont ask, even if
they knew and asked then they needed
more insight which they believe you could
provide, listen to children lead them
positively, answer their questions to
reasonable extent no matter how silly they
appear, by so doing you save yourself from
blames when they make mistake. |
Family / Re: Hilarious Things You Did As A Kid? by Asiecam05(m): 11:08pm On May 24, 2016 |
Omoo i did things real funny. I used to watch my uncle come out of the bathroom with his towel tied round his waist which he would wear his trousers on before pulling out, i saw it as what adults do, so i decided to be an adult, i was in pry 2 then, after taking my bath one morning, i tied my towel round my waist then wore my school uniform on it and forgot to pull the towel out afterwards, i was running late to school, so i ran off to school. At school i felt heay, that was when i remembered i had a towel on, i had to run to the back of the building and take it off. I remember picking my nose and licking the product. While sleeping i would have a dream where i was urinating in the toilet, then wake up to find out that i have urinated on the bed. When i urinate on the bed, i would wake up immediately change my pants and hide the soaked one under dirty clothes. I put a zip handle in my nose and it couldnt come out, i was scared and didnt tell my mum, until one day she was bathing me. One day i, my uncle and aunt was watching a movie named the prostitute, suddenly segun arinze began making love to omotola jilade, my aunt signaled to my uncle that i was too small to watch adult contents, my uncle looked at me and asked me if i understood what they were doing in the movie, i told him no that i dont understand. My uncle returned home wit a video casset one day and told me and my two cousines that it was a movie he acted, we were so anxcious to watch the movie, he didnt let us watch it instead he went and hid it, the next day when we came back from school and was alone at home, we searched everywhere for the movie, we searched well before we found it under the bed, we played it only to find out it was Indecency and we watched and replayed it again omoo that was how i watched my first Indecency after which we hid it back for him. When we would play the police and thief game then it with fighting for who shot who first, ' i shot you and you dont want to die, inshort i am not playing again'. They usually gave gifts to pupils who came 1st 2nd and 3rd position, and i never saw that position, then luckily one term i came 3rd, that term they didnt share any gift, i was angry. In class, whenever we were asked to recite the multiplication table, i was among those group of people that shouted 2x1, then kept quiet while few people gave the answer. Wen we played tie tie. Childhood dayss was real fun. 2 Likes |
