You can never convince IPOB supporters, ENDSAR Coup plotters, Twitter mobs and the rest anti Nigerian citizens that the boys were released without paying one kobo.

They are adamant, you can never convinced gullibles and those unfit to think that buhari is doing his job..the only solution is to leave them in depression with facts.

If you like show them real videos of any positivity, negativity have clouded their sense of reasons to the extend that they now see good as evil

Even if so, the UK cannot make the "zoo" fall. We shouldn't underestimate the sovereignty of a nation because of emotions. The UK can only debate and possibly issue threats bothering on economic or trade ties. They can't come in and remove Buhari from power or even do anything beyond that.

However, that said, it's good that they are debating this issue. At the very least, it'll be a national embarassment. If sustained, it could lead to serious trade, diplomatic and political tensions.
I think by the time they get a balanced information, they will discover it is not as bad as people were made to believed.

Politics / Re: How PDP Is Losing It In The Southeast. by Asukuebira1: 10:01am On Nov 12, 2020
Eastlink:
The SE are the cause of their political predicaments today. They lost the plot after the death of Zik. No matter how the pro-Biafran dumb bandwagon may want to paint Zik, he made sure the Igbos got their fair share in the power sharing equation. Any wonder why since 1993 no Igbo have come close to attaining the Presidential seat. Following the PDP stupidly was a political mistake that has come back to hunt Igbos.

Seeing that the PDP had no future for them from 1999 -2003, they should have joined any formidable party to send them packing. But that was never done. In 2003 when the opportunity presented itself they foolishly played the southern game by supporting Obasanjo instead of a Buhari with a SE running mate. They had the opportunity with Buhari/Okadigbo ANPP but cowardly supported Obasanjo. What did Obasanjo gift them in return, political death? The same Obasanjo is the godfather of MASSOB who has now metamorphosed to IPOB, a monster currently ravaging the Igbo nation.

The opportunity arose again in 2007 with Buhari / Umezuoke but still our people ignorantly sold their birthright supporting Yar’adua / GEJ. Though Yar’adua was fair to everyone, but fairness and sympathy votes don’t count in Nigeria.

The last opportunity came in 2015 when Buhari toured the SE for Igbo alliance. A zone that had stood with him since 2001, but what he saw made him weep. Seeing that he couldn't get it he looked to the SW. This was where Ndigbo shot themselves in the foot. Even when the likes of Rochas with his APGA faction along with Ogbonnaya Onu ANPP rallied Ndigbo to join the APC, the wicked PDP politicians of Igbo extraction called them outcast and continued dining with the PDP. What should have been a bargaining chip in the APC was sold on the alter of greed. By foolishly standing with GEJ in 2015, the SE sounded their political death knell.

Well, It’s never too late than never. The SE must leave the PDP in drove, either starting a new party or seek the fellowship of the APC. A people must have self-worth and not be easily swayed by emotions. This is the lesson.
THIS IS A GOOD ANALYSIS. THANKS FOR TAKING US DOWN MEMORY LANE.

Foreign Affairs / Re: US Election 2020: The Electoral College System Explained by Asukuebira1: 1:56pm On Nov 10, 2020
ayusco85:
Even if Nigerian adopts college electoral system, the northern states will still have high college electoral votes. The north will always have the advantage due to population
I still prefer our own way of determining when a state is won or lost, which is having 1/4 of total vote casted in a state AND winning 2/3 of the Nigerian states. This is better and clearer than the so called Electoral College Vote.

Old men association. At least this one will not call you lifeless since you're both the same age.
*AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL POLL:*

In fact the two Presidential candidates are 74 and 77yrs old respectively.

Their Senate Majority leader (Mitch McConnell) is 78yrs old and has been in the senate for 35yrs.

Their House is led by an 80yrs old woman (Nancy Pelosi) and she’s been there for 31yrs.

Nigeria's problem is not age but *mentality*: "turn by turn", "chop-I-chop", "Yahoo Yahoo is brain at work", "cheating is smartness" etc.

*No nation becomes better until they change their mentality.

*BEING YOUNG IS NOT AN ADVANTAGE UNLESS....*

Yahaya Bello was 40, Dimeji Bankole was *34*, Orji Kalu was *39*

Gov. Yahaya Bello was born on *18th July 1975*.

He became governor on Jan 27th 2016 aged *40yrs*.

Anyim Pius Anyim was born 19th Feb. 1961.

He was elected Senate President in August 2000 aged *39*.

Let's talk about Dimeji Bankole.

He was born 14th, Nov. 1969 and was elected into house of Reps in 2003 when he was just *34!!!*

He later became speaker of house of Reps. in Nov 2007 at *38yrs as a bachelor*.

*Let me shock you more*....

Orji Uzor Kalu was born on 21st, April 1960 and was elected in 1999 at just *39*.

*AM I COMMUNICATING*?

Donald Duke was born 30-11-1961, also elected governor of Cross River State in 1999 at *38*.

These are some of the *YOUTHS* who had found themselves in leadership positions.

*Did they do things differently*?

What indelible marks would you say Dimeji left as speaker being a young man?

What of Orji Uzor Kalu?

Did he serve Abia State differently and better as a young man?

*Our problem is not age of aspirants or candidates*.

Those who plunged us into this wahala are also youths.

The active players in the *civil war* were all youths.

*The actors of 1st and 2nd coup of 1966 were all young men*.

One of them was *Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu*.

He was just 29 years then, born on 26th, Feb 1937

The beneficiaries of subsequent coups were also youths

Yes! In their **20s, 30s and early 40s*.

*One of them was Yakubu Gowon*.

Yakubu was born 19-10-1934, became head of state in July 1966 at youthful age of just *32!!!*

He married his wife, Victoria as a sitting *head of state!*

What do all these our parents tell us made them to fail and we think we can do differently and better?

Are these ones; Bukola Saraki, Dino malaiye,, Wike, Tambuwa, Fayose not youths?
What positive impact did they make?

Those shouting *'Not too young to rule*' must also remember *'NOT TOO YOUNG TO STEAL*'

Our problem is not *age, sex, qualification, tribe or religion of leaders*.

It is having that *DETERMINATION and COMMITMENT TO SERVE*.

It's about being *God FEARING AND POSSESSING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES* like *AHMADU BELLO, AWOLOWO, ZIK and others*.

They were also youthful when they came on board.

So, it is NOT just about their AGE.

They were determined to serve

May God bless our country Nigeria.

The question is " who actually threw up the religious sentiment?' The guy identified himself as Samuel Nathaniel. CAN said that is not his name, CAN gave the fake name as Mohammed Nadir Sani. This is what sparked up the whole controversies. So CAN is a deceit.
