Pls House, NOTE that there is no magic to it but HONESTY, its if one have something to hide then he will not be confident of him/her self. HONESTLY, i was relaxed and was even chating with the CO because my credentials are genuine or do they know my wife or child more than I ?. The Key word is HONESTY, No liesssssss and be relaxed, just feel free and I bet you, your DV will be APPROVED!

*Security Check Points.....was much,, though i held only my car keys so i had no issues with them
*Made DV Payments (N54,500)
*Nigerian lady called to submit Originals and Photocopy of all my credentials

Then after waiting a while and almost getting tired of waiting,CO Called my number to d window

anyway just to chip in i realised at the interview a guy came in with his high school certificate and he had F in both english and maths. one of the co's told him that is ground for disqualification he told her he rewrote the exam that is novdec in ghana i believe is neco in nigeria well when asked where that result is he said he left it at home. pls go to the interview with all your certificates all they need is your high school anyway.

walk to any police station close to your home and ask any of the police personnel found there,you will get to knw the difference. As for Dv lottery go to alagbon police head quater lagos and get your police clearance.

Make a photocopy of the data page of you Intl' passport, also your international passport and 2 passport photographs.

Don Kool: Had my interview today.
It was super smooth.
they only asked where i was working and for how long.
I was expecting smooth sailing 'cos i met the stipulated conditions (work and /or education) and all my documents were legit and in order so no shaking..
But after the interview, i realized that i had it better than i imagined and knew that it was God's hand at work.
What more can i say, Baba God Noni!!

My advice is to get all necessary documentation in place and let HIM do the rest.

Question 1. How long does it take to do Police Report and Medical Report?

Question 2. i have been reading through postings about birth certificate authenticated by NPC, i have a normal birth certificate issue at the hospital were i was born since birth and i have been using this all along, does this mean there is a different view to BC by the consular?

Hi Temmy, I have called KCC and they confirmed to me i must have an address in the USA if not now ,at the time of the interview as this is where they will mail the GC too,also they said i can still send it to them as they will attach to my CN. Moreso for those of us expecting how soon an interview will be scheduled, they said the first batch of interview will be out on August 15th and afterwards ,the other batch comes out in October.
For those of us who has less CN, get prepared and take note.

what you did could reduce your chances of getting the visa becos they believed people from esp third world needs support to start new life in US. Moreover they dont want liabilities on them. I guess they may request for your bank statement when it gets to the interview stage. As for the GC, i dont know much about it

Hi, i sent mine also through DHL and i have tracked it until it reaches the same sorting centre where ur's also reached, and i also called KCC and they confirmed to me that the Documents has been recieved and it is been processed.

Hello Friends, your advice is needed, i sent the form to KCC but on the form ,i have put N/A on address in the USA and also N/A on where they should send the GC. i think i could support myself for sometime while in the states before i get another job and also do u think this could be an issue? not that i dont have anyone in the states becos people are not to be relied upon from my expereience. Pls advice.

temmytanny: @atseyi,if you are in nigeria,you dont need financial statement but i would advice you send mail to KCC or US embassy in Nigeria for confirmation. You case number is very low and so expect your interview in oct-november. You interview letter(via email)would come by june-july.so start preparing your documents.

Hello,to be more safe with logistics,you can send through dhl as i sent mine through DHL but it cost much.

The guy doesnt know that confirmation case number determines when he would go for interview. If his confirmation number is high,he maynot have interview until next year despite submitting early.

Guy, it doesnt affect me either may not affect them if i am submitting ealier,my part has been done anyway;apparently my case number is very very low, 00000***.

oayombo: Dude, what they are saying is that u should have at least taken sometime to get over the anxiety of winning before sending your docs as the interview isn't based on first come first serve basis. U sef check am, u posted around 2pm that you won...and about 6hrs later you posted again that you've sent your forms via dhl already. Lol...that isn't fast but super-fast.
