I totally get your point. But Nigeria is not a developed or advanced nation with a lot of capital invested in technology startups like this. So funding could be a major factor in developing any useful technology product. Whatever the case may be, encouraging home-grown technology is key to self-sustenance.

We need more capital going to companies like these with proven ideas and clear visions. Without Millions of dollars invested into R&grin and precision manufacturing, no meaningful product can come out of Nigeria to compete on the global stage.

All these Critics of this products are the reason why Nigeria will never grow or be patriotic . We hate supporting our own , We always prefer what Oyigbo do over ours . Bros we no like ourselves .
All humanoid robots have a creepy sense to them . This is because they have no emotions , so they can’t really express it . Japan so far is the only country with a 100% realistic humanoid with emotions .
But mind you Japan has been into robots since 1980’s so yes enough of xperience and developments .

Make una try Dey encourage small endeavors like these . We can’t keep hating on our kind all the time . We should learn to embrace and support each other . These guys have made the step , we need more teams like these . We need to be making our own tech in Africa . But instead we are only building fintech softwares. No one wants to build hardwares or hardtech anymore , Yet we use hardtech products daily . Thanks to cheap Chinese manufacturers.

Fact that there are lots of open source ai that you can chat with and they respond online makes the software unimpressive, they couldn't even come up with realistic face, eyes and bit of expression on the robot, neither can the mouth actually open to simulate talking, dem for just block mouth put led there.

And you want to accuse them of tribalism because they chose a name they understand . Does the name threaten your culture or existence ? Omeife is an African- Igbo name . Please learn to celebrate with others , and stop seeing evil in Igbos , they are a blessing to Nigeria whether Nigerians like to admit it or NOT !

I would suggest this 5TEC A65 model with 32,64G/3,4G . 1.3Ghz Octa-core processor.
Looks like they are planning to launch after new year 2023.
Should be around 65k - 75k , not sure exactly . I’m sure there are other comparable models too .

Hahahaq some Nigerians and cheap mentality. Do we even ask how the people who manufacture these items make money at these cheap a prices ? Have you seen their factory workers ? . We need to understand that a good quality product takes a good team to make and a good team is usually not cheap . So with all these your major flagship specs , either you buy a replica iPhone for looks or you buy a decent budget phone for use .

Cut your coat according to size applies to everything, not just in advice.

It sounds good ! How many Nigerian engineers even know what reverse-engineering means ?

We don’t have tools and equipment to reverse engineers these type of machines . Plus there isn’t much science to vessel design and build. You need a team of good experienced designers , Navy personnel , business men with a modern shipyard with cranes and good welding machines and a team of expert welders , fabricators, and craftsmen !!!!!! You’ll have a ship after 15 months .

We need P.O to take Nigeria from consumption and buying to production and selling ..
