Thank God for His intervention. But I gotta ask: Which is Nigeria's "biggest banK" There are too many claims to that throne it is becoming a serious cause of suspision. I work in a bank(the oldest in Nigeria) and we dont lay claims to being anything.Other banks should rather concentrate on really adding value to the lives of Nigerians, value in the form of long term loans, corporate responsibility and the likes; and not spending stupendous amonts to advertise on CNN or just to acquire cubicle space at the international airport.

Romance / Re: Why Are Some Successful Sisters Not Married? by awat: 6:53pm On Aug 07, 2007
Sacrificing marriage on the altar of success is sweet, but in the end we are all humans designed by an all-knowing God who understands the value of relationships more than we ever could. Everyone craves companionship!!! If the "successful" sistas and brothers like, they can hide behind the lie that they are satisfied in the progress they are making; ultimately they will succumb to the truth (even if only to themselves) of the incompleteness and consequent frustration of being alone at say 50 or 60. My brother's first boss was a very successful but unmarried telecomms professional, and she was in the habit of chewing on everyone's asses whether they did right or wrong-there was simply no satisfying her. The same goes for the brothers- how would u feel coming home to ur dog at the ripe young age of 49? We think people can live alone all their lives cos we see only their game face-they are actually dying inside. WE ALL WANT SOMEONE WE CAN CALL OUR OWN, WE ALL NEED COMPANIONSHIP. Trust me, I should know. I have an extremely beautiful, very successful (she just moved to another bomb job) elder sister who at 37 is single. As her younger brother I have the privilege of seeing both sides of her (public and private). My advice is: find a way to manage companionship with that success cos companionship and not success is more enduring. Why else did God himself say "it is not good for man to be alone". Are you funny GIRLS and boys gonna contradict the BIG MAN UPSTAIRS cos u make some paper? I work and I'm building something with a beautiful Head Accountant of an International Organization who is humble and does not gimme gray hairs though she has a clear sense of where she wants to go! Success indeed, Hmph!!! Accept u r failing in relationships and need to change tact. Mwah
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Who Know About Braxton Conglomerates? by awat: 3:13pm On Aug 07, 2007
Thou i had my reservations about them but it was confirmed this morning(Tuesday),when in the wee hours say like 5.16am i got a call from this no. 0806221557 reminding me of the interview.I was shocked cos the timing of the call was really wrong.cos if u ask me no matter the passion that guy has for his job as a recruiter or whatever,he wont be calling people at that time of the day.
I am sure there ll be victims.but i just hope that they will not be hit too badly.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Am Scared! It's Not Ozone Layer Again ,it Is: by awat: 12:28pm On Aug 03, 2007
Granted this post is outta place in the job section, but I must tell ya'll "IT IS NOT USELESS!!!". Imagine Nigeria was South east Asia where the Tsunami struck and claimed over 200,000 lives!. We as Nigerians and Africans in general should be eternally grateful to God that we live in a region that is not prone to such natural disasters. Take a closer look at CNN's coverage of events in Asia, parts of Europe and Southern America and you might just begin to shake in yer boots a little. I believe that God in His infinite mercy has seen that we in Nigeria are very irresponsible and pathologically disorganized, and allowing us to be subjected to naural disasters such as tsunamis, hurricanes and the likes will only amount to wiping us off the map of planet earth. Ordinary plane crash we no fit handle, na tsunami or earthquake naim we go fit? Ha! I think we should be more concerned about the effects of global warming cos there's no guarantee that we'll be shielded from a fallout if it happens-------remember the only thing that's constant about climate is its unpredictability. And like the initiator of this thread said, "we really are in the end times". Anything fit happen.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 1st Class And 2.1 Is The Best Grade. 2.2 Is God's Grace Anythng Else Ur On Ur Own. by awat: 2:10pm On Mar 23, 2007
You have a 2.1 and you generate this cacophony?I shudder at what you would have done if you had a first class, uhhhh! A lot of people here have 2.1s and more and are not making any fuss. Reuben Abati- know him? He sits on the board of Guardian newspapers. He got his P.hd at 25!!!!!!! Chew on that for a minute. How old are you? 19, 18 How old? I suggest you take your ass off your shoulders and serve a better purpose with that grade of yours-encourage others, don't pull them down. You have pride smeared all over you. Open your eyes girl, there's a big hole in front of you. Best wishes. Mwah!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: First Bank Only Shortlisted 2-1 Girls by awat: 1:53pm On Mar 23, 2007
You mean there actually are more female graduates than male ones Why then did the people in Abuja designate the higher figure to men in the last census? No need to fret man. Opportunities will surely present themselves. God no dey sleep. If every dog can have its day, what of men? I wrote the test.
