Don't worry. The road is in Ikorodu Land, Lagos. They already gave the address; Oshorun/Ibeshe. Please, go to Ikorodu main garage and ask for directions so that you can confirm the developments.

Abeg, must they staged the show at Bayelsa? Please, sentimen apart,MBGN 2013 was boring. Very boring. Miss Nigeria 2013 did way better than this.

Stage = Wack (looked crowded)
Stage design = Wack
Presenters = I dunno
Abia/Imo mistake = what's the meaning of that?
The ambience of that hall?
Organisation? Poor. It looked like a show of 2003 than 2013.

And I think it's high time they made it a rule that girls representing states should come the states they are representing. But the wahala wey dey dere be say Yoruba and Hausa girls no dey like contest for these things.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Is Surrounded By Professional Praise-singers - David-west by ayotolah: 7:36pm On Jun 16, 2013
Adex097: G.E.Jonathan met with the Queen
of England. He asked her, "Your
Majesty, how do you run such an
efficient government?
Are there... any tips you can give
to me? I want to help Nigeria.
"Well,"the Queen replied, "the
most important thing
is to surround yourself with
intelligent people.
Jonathan frowned, and then asked, "But
how do I know the people
around me are really
intelligent?"
The Queen took a sip off her cup
of tea. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to
answer an intelligent riddle."
The Queen pushed a button on
her intercom. "Please ... send
David Cameron in here, would you?"
David Cameron walked into the room and said,
"Yes,Your Majesty?"
The Queen smiled and said,
"Answer me this please. David,
your mother and
father have a child. It is not your
brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"
Without pausing for a
moment, David Cameron
answered, "That would be me."
"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.
Jonathan went back home to ask N. Sambo, his
vice presidential
choice the same question.
"Sambo, answer this for me. Your
mother and your father
have a child. It's not your brother
and it's not your sister. Who is it?" "I'm
not sure, said
Sambo. "Let me get back to you
on that one..." He
went to his advisors and asked
every one, but none could give him an answer.
Finally, one night, he ran into
Ngozi iweala..
Sambo asked, “Ngozi, can you
answer this for me?
Your mother and father have a child and it's not
your brother or
your sister. Who is it?"
Ngozi Iweala answered sharply, "That's
easy, it's me"
Sambo smiled, and said,
"Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with
Jonathan. "Sir, I did
some research and
I have the answer to that riddle.
It's
Ngozi iweala.
Jonathan got up angrily, frowning he said to
Sambo. No wonder
Nigeria isn't moving forward, I
don't have intelligent people
around me. !You Dummy! The
answer is David Cameron!!!!l...........

Billyonaire: Fashola is a great man, he plants flowers, sweep roads and pursues the poor into the hinterlands. Even Eko Ile who was a popular Area Boy is now a LASTMA official supervising traffic. This is called Employment generation. Fashola is one of the greatest politicians Lagos can have, he is prudent enough to toll the roads and on the latest Ikoyi-Lekki bridge, he single-handedly bans Commercial buses from crossing the bridge cos he doesnt love to see the poor men crossing an elite 'cable' 'suspension' bridge while inside danfo. And he also charges me 300 naira each time I cross the bridge, I end up paying 600 naira each time I go to play at Ikoyi Club, this is income generation for the state, I love it.

Fashola is one of the greatest things to happen to Lagos, Ajah road is now wearing a brand new look with LCC performing wonders, the construction of a 100 meters location has taken 3yrs and there is hope that it will be finished in 2020 when portable water comes.

Check out the Kuramo Beach area, the poor people who lived there had been chased away and multimillion dollars hotels are springing up for the elites like me. Very soon, I will own a plot at Eko Atlantic City, looking at the coast of the ocean, no poor man in sight. What a wonderful Governor. This is a great man that merits great awards in the art of "Poverty Eviction" and "Flower Planting".

I love this great man called "Fash". He single-handedly pursued the Okada riders from Lagos, now we the elites can drive our 'Jeeps' without hindrances, who said we can not survive without Okada. Keke Napep is an eyesore, we need to eradicate them.

Baba Fash, I hail thee. More grease to your bones.

Highly predictable...Ode. It's no longer funny anymore...reading your comments these is really irritating because most times, you think you are making sense while in actual face, all you spill is rubbish. I think you should make yourself scarce for a while. I would not want to believe that this is how people from your area think.

Even in my parents' area in Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Fashola's administration constructed two new roads that I know of, Clem Road and Ajala Road, constructed pipe borne water (yea, it runs in our compoud) and he even gave all the students 6 free textbook each (they return them at end of each session though because the textbookS belongs to LASG.

Falomo bridge that was commissioned some months back is not been tolled for heaven's sake.

Guy, please make yourself scarce if you can't call a dpade a spade!

ILIDEFI: I strongly detest Eko Ile and his brother Eko Atlantic. Typical Yoruba bigots they both are. They've never been outside the south west but think they know anytin abt Nigeria.
To start wit, Lagos is not Yoruba land. Lagos was Nigeria's capital city, and today it represents Nigeria as a whole. D beauty of Lagos today is because it wz built by Nigeria, not by Southwesterners, who lack a sense of beauty. Eko Ile and co, how many other SW cities are like Lagos? It's just like northerners coming to boast about Abj cos it's in d north.
Granted dat Onitsha may be dirty cos of the large population of traders and the enormous trading activities going on there, but you guys should visit Enugu and Owerri. Are they in any way less developed than Ibadan and Abeokuta etc? The answer is no.
Go to villages in d East and see development. Men hustle and develop their communities. Fine houses are built, electricity is brought into communities, even roads are tarred by indigenes of various communities, unlike your SW ppl that depend on government to do everything for them.
You guys should change that dirty mindset you have about Igbos, which only portray jealousy. No other tribe in Nigeria wud'v been standing this tall like Igbos, if they faced the civil war, and the ensuing marginalization that Igbos have faced for many decades now. Igbos are still d best in Nigeria, and the transformation you all have been craving for will only come in Nigeria wen an Igbo man ascends the presidency. Mark my words.

Typical ranting of an exploitative Yoruba or Hausa Fulani. They can’t ever reconcile with the fact that they’re out of power for the first time in Nigeria history and risk losing out in the next rounds of oil block bidding next year. Where was this patriotic relevance seeking con when Buhari made a similar statement? Why didn't he take Buhari to court then? Hypocrite! If possible Niger Deltans should rule Nigeria for ever because of what they bring to the economy. The leechlike Yorubas and Hausas should make do with Lagos and Abuja cities that were built with resources of the South South at the expense of unprecedented oil pollution and destruction of oil company host communities.
Meanwhile, I trust that during the unstoppable 2nd term, Goodluck will initiate a kind of Marshal plan that will see a city as big or even bigger than Lagos and Abuja built in any central area between South South and South East.

Please, how old are you?

Gbawe:

You raise this argument always yet why can GEJ not pave the way to get you out right now? What are your political leaders, i.e those with influential government offices, doing to get you what you claim you all want as a people? You guys have always made this vacuous demand as if every single member of your ethnic group desires same - never mind that the state of affairs on the ground (eg migratory/nomadic pattern) flatly show you are only into self-deceit.

Let us put aside emotion, sentiments and empty braggadocio. I want you to answer me as an honest adult capable of speaking the truth. Is there any proof , from the real situation on the ground to show you are inwardly focused and politically united enough to be the ones to capitalise optimally on separation of Nigeria you ask for non-stop? If I insist I want to be an athlete, does it not make sense that I should be naturally fast?

Have you ever calmly and rationally researched the many examples history provides to note what those who ask for separation had in place already that indicates it would work for them or are you you just emptily using "separation" as a misguided panacea for all your woes

Why will GEJ, Okonjo-Iweala, Anyim, Ekweremadu, Your senators, Reps et al not bravely 'go there' on your behalf? Are they not holding real power and in position to agitate for what you want if indeed it is wanted by everyone from your ethnic group as you claim? Why , as usual, blame Yorubas for everything and talk as if we are holding you in bondage?

Even though many Nigerians fail to admit the truth to themselves and prefer falsely blaming others for their woes, anybody who is a realist and not into self-deceit will know that, given the reality today, the Yorubas have nothing to fear if everyone went their way and are given full control of the economic activities within their domain.

We don't speak for peace and unity out of any fear. We do it because we are pragmatic and realistic. The centre controlled by Nigerians from all ethnic groups, to include your "virtuous brothers" you think back the separation ideology you tout hollowly, will never back the break up of Nigeria !!! If not, then there should be no one moving us towards separation more than GEJ !!!! Yet he flatly rules out SNC and ignores all attempts, called for by even the SW, to reconvene Nigeria along a genuinely federal structure that will devolve power away from the centre to make States and region more independent and able to develop optimally commensurate to the desire of their people. Yet you are not honest or self-critical enough to blame GEJ for keeping you united with your "enemies".

When the politically pragmatic folks of the SW note this 'prison' the centre, consisting of politicians from all ethnic groups, has locked us in, what is the point hollowly shouting "separation" when there is no chance of that happening unless the FG sanctions it or we go to war for it? Is it not obvious, with the PDP voted out and with the idea of regional integration, that the SW has decided to make the best of a bad situation instead of shouting "separation" when that will never happen as long as the greedy centre benefits from how things are?

If this forum hosted honest, pragmatic and genuinely analytical folks, from all regions, it would be clear the SW has absolutely nothing to fear if we separate. Use this awful forum as a template for example. Do SW posters lack ideas or lag behind anyone here in terms of the discussion of analytical politics or developmental issues? Get real dude and face your own leaders to give you what you want. Stop blaming an ethnic group, fair to all in their land as proof of their decency, for a situation all Nigerians have contributed to and continue to perpetuate. You are not "innocent victims" in anything ,as you continue to deceive yourselves, and the antics of your political leaders show this.

Stop blaming the Yorubas for all your problem. In a very flawed Country, we cannot do more than we are doing currently by being a constant voice for peace and a sane part of Nigeria where all religion and all men co-exist peacefully and without persecution or discrimination.
