I hate calling people names, Urfriend honestly i hold you very high in my perking order in respect of what people use to say about you on this forum. But you have really disappoint me, May i say you did act like a slowpoke here cos people are complaining of your company products in bad ways, no good channel, some channel are missing from time to time yet you come on this forum to post an article about YOBO JOSEPH without finding or profund a little solution to your customers. Is that the way to make PR for people who are aggrieve with the program content been giving to them with the high payment of 6k. Men am very very disappointed.

Am very sound and i know what am saying. I was at the ikeja office to upgrade my decoder and i took on the technicians about the download on your site, they confess to me the the download was not ok, i was a little reserve and went on to the IT personnel there who gave me all the load down of the down load on your site and apologies for the trouble they might have cause me. so therefor urfriend pls always verify your claims very well before coming with a ans. My decoderwas upgraded with decoder to decoder, now am on 2.0.11. Thanks

As i told you earlier, Am an IT personnel and i know what it is if you make a mistake trying to upload a software into any system. My decoder was 2.0.7 since before this upgrade i did last night. Am just trying to call your attention to this so that you guys can look in to the download software on your site very well. Thanks i will take my decoder to your office as you said.

trying to upgrade following your instruction on your website. after everything went off and is nt coming up again. wot do i do? i lived in abuja.  
 

That's what happen to my decoder too when i was trying to upgrade(Bb rrr) That's what is showing on the screen panel of my decoder. Note: There was no interuptions from nepa cos i was using my generator and also my systems where connected to UPS. pls what can we do.Do i take it to your office for proper check.

Even if the benefit is not direct to me i will say its indirect to me because today i put a call to there customer care inrespect of my good friend who as not been using nor subscrib for the past eight month and is card was activated for free one month viewing. This was confirmed by me. That shows for once HITV is real there.
But Pls is the promo only for those who are not active for the past five to six month. What about those who have been active but can not afored to pay three month subcription at a go but can only pay for one month. Are they still going to pay the six thousand? or there is any incentive for them. Pls this HITV promo is segemented the way it is. Pls do read my post and understand me very well and also pass it to HITV management for proper action. They should look in to those who can only pay for one month at a time and a promo should be open for them too.

What will happen to those loyal/active customer that can not afford to pay three month subscription? But were able to pay for one month. @EKONIBAJE: There is no truth in what you just said about LCD TV. Pls when connecting your tv with the HITV decorder make sure that the cables are well connected. I personally use in to in cable not component cables to connect my hitv decorder while i use HDMI cable for my DSTV decorder and Home theater system. Pls cross check your TV very well maybe you wrongly connect the cables thats why you having black and white picture showing on your screen.

Now pls house i will like to ask this. What will happen to those loyal customer that can not afford to pay three month subscription? are they not entitle to any compensation from HITV also, I will be glad if urfriend can also shed more ligth on this issue.

Once ur decorder is 2.0.7. u need no further upgrade. About the activation stuff, i also exprience it and it took HITV 4 hrs before i was connected though when i call there customer care to explain my flight they realy apologise to me about the delay in connecting me.

Pls i mean no harm but you shld get an HITV decorder and watch there channel to see if they are trying or not cos we that have both Cable know what we are saying, quality wise.

Pls i will beg you to always verify your points before posting anything cos HITV have improve considrably than what you are talking. The E entertament you are saying is also thesame as been shown in DSTV.

You are very right about the distribution of the HI magazine of HITV.But lets be frank with ourself, the foreign company you are also taking of don't give there magazine out to all there customer always.I was a victim of this.

I subscribe to the full bouquet of DSTV 9k. There is one particular channel that make me to subscribe to HITV, and thats AMULUDUN Station cos of my wife and not until recently that my kids fell in love with the new ANIMAX channel.
Honestly by the time you have a chance to view HITV channels very closely you will find out that they are comming of ages unlike when they started. There are some fooball matches that you can not avoid to miss which HITV relay while DSTV doesn't relay them.
Though am not a freak of football but there are times you will want to belong.

The truth is that we can not compear HITV with DSTV interm of Channels now, but mind you they are trying to match up. Very soon you will find out that they will be adding some very good qaulity channels to there plat form. Dstv does not start adding qaulity channels from inception they too also listen to there subscriber before getting to where they are now.
Futher more i am not in support of you saying Hitv is a football base tv.They are trying to come up with other appealing channels, just like DSTV did when they came in to the country, there are channels that they levrage on to attract customer to subscribe to them. I can remeber that i use to watch 24hrs Discovery channel there then, that was so intresting and also the CNN news. Just like me am not a football freak but at times i watch some intresting football on HITV. I currently own both HITV and DSTV decorder, just for you to know that i sincearly know what am saying.

NB: Pls try and watch HITV channels of lately after this there upgrade you will understand where am comming from.There Picture qaulity can be compear to any pay Tv now.

Pls something has to be done to this upgrade. Can't HITV put the upgrade software on there site for people to download and use to upgrade there decorder. I exprience something today with my boss Decorder, After calling the customer care of HITV where i was told that upgrading at any dealers place is free, i took the decorder there for upgrading only to be told that i have to pay N1000 before anything can be done.Well i was force to pay. Pls let there be something done on this aspect so that the dealers should not be capitalising on the recent channels upgrade which HITV just done.

   Have been following your comment close to some time now with keen intrest, all what you have been saying about HITV are Ok but not until the last two post you posted which i disagree with you a bit. On the channels, urfriend is very right in that area cos its not a day job to add channels. There are process to follow from the end of HITV and the orignated channel owner. Secondly, If you are not a subscriber to HITV why asking for more like an oliver twist. My adage says the GREATEST WEAPON A MAN MUST HAVE IS TRUTH. Afterall no one is going to hold you if you dont subscribe or rather if you are a subscriber to HITV. Futher more i realy like the way you have been tackling the issue.

I personaly accept all what you have been saying about the mager of HITV with Daarsat. but one thing you fail to understand is that one will be riding at the back of the other in terms of customer they both have and also the technical capability. Pls let leave all the pay TV alone as they are cos its a good omen for we the subscriber to choose the one that most suitable for us in an aspect of viewing from induvidual. Let even pray that another pay Tv come on board to compete with those already around.

Am making my promise this moring in giving HiTv the three bossa i said last week. Am impress with the new channels i found when i put on my decorder. Discovery channel is the inthing.

I will say thank God if realy HiTv have added all those channels as people have been saying. Then i will go home and swtich on my decorder which have been left dead by me since.
