The senior wife in a polygamous setting always enjoy the wealth with her children after the death of their husband, so if you are married into a polygamous family as a junior wife please make sure you gained enough from him while he's alive because after his death the battle is over for you.
Will you say with clear conscience that AIT doesn't need change? Is AIT of today same as the one every Nigeria yearned to watch back then in early 2000? AIT is fast becoming like NTA. I think they need to change to keep up with the competition as it is they are lagging behind.

This would have been the most exciting piece I read in recent time until he said she can inherit the properties if her husband dies and this got me thinking what if she add a little.......... in his food or drink.
This is why it's not good to disclose one death benefit for those that work in blue chip companies with life insurance policy.
Again it is good that a man puts his house in order and secure his wife and children future in case of any eventuality to avoid "UMUNNA" reaping where they did not sow too.

Wow! Was she the lead judge?
One of the most controversial judgments in Nigeria even INEC couldn't update their website to reflect the judgement because it defies logic so Emeka Ihedioha remained in INEC website as the winner of the election for that four years.

Health / Re: How My Girlfriend Died In My House! by Barteze: 11:09pm On Aug 22
KingintheNorth:
Let me tell you a a true life story.

It actually happend about 10 years ago but the memories will live with me forever . Although I have not talked about it on social media but I feel like telling the story so that people will learn. It's a long story but I'll make it brief.

I was cohabiting with my girl back in the Uni, we have been like that for a few years , but then one day I came back to my lodge late in the night because I watched a football game on my way back from school. I opened my door and met my girl on the floor. She was motionless and her eyes were wide open, I checked her pulse but I couldn't feel anything. Her teeth and her palms were clenched tight. I panicked and just froze at the spot not knowing what to do. I then called a few people in the lodge and alerted them about what was happening but before I knew it , the whole lodge people have gathered in my room and outside the door.

Nobody could tell what must have happend to her. We thought about rushing her to hospital but the school clinic is closed and there are no good hospitals in the area because the school is in a remote location, and it was almost midnight at the time. Some people did different type of first aid on her , trying to see if they can revive her but after few hours there still wasn't any sign of life.
People started suspecting that she might be dead and started taking somethings from their rooms and leaving the lodge immediately. Out of the 30 occupants of the lodge only one person (student pastor) remained with me. The rest ran away from the lodge ,even my best friend .🙁

The student pastor prayed and prayed to see if she will come back to life but nothing happend , at about 4am the Pastor told me that he has done everything he can and that it's in the hands of God now. He then went to his room. It was just the two of us left in the building.

I sat down in my room, I didn't know what to do, I couldn't cry , I thought about how I was going to be arrested and charged for murder when in truth I'm innocent, which nobody will believe because of nigeria justice system. I thought about my parents , how they sacrificed to send me to school not knowing I was cohabiting with a girl . At some point I thought about running away, but that will mean I'm guilty and perhaps how far and how long would I be on the run before I would be caught.

I didn't know who to call , I was just bereft of ideas. I decided I'll submit myself to the police in the morning and explain what happend and possibly face the consequences. As I sat there waiting for day to break, I started scrolling through my phone contacts.
Mind you, I believe in God but I'm not a very religious person. I came across one pastor that gave me his phone number a long time ago. I then decided to just try my luck and call him. I called him and he picked up the call immediately as if he was waiting for the call.
I wanted to tell him what's happening, but he cut me short and told me he already knows. That he was disturbed in the spirit and God revealed it to him so he started praying but he didn't know it was for my situation he was praying for at that time.

He told me I should not be afraid , that everything will be fine. He asked me if I have any sachet water around , I looked around and got a sachet water . He then asked me to put the phone ontop of the water so her can pray in it. I did as he asked. After praying , he then asked me to try and force open her mouth anyway I can pour some water inside ,then sprinkled the rest all over her body.

I did everything he instructed. He then told me that everything will be alright and ended the call. By then it was almost 6am in the morning. I just sat there starring at her , then I saw her hand move a little bit, I cleaned my eyes and got closer to her so as to be sure my eyes were not deceiving me. Her hand moved again , then her legs . Before I knew it she opened her eyes and sat up. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was in shock and was wondering if I'm imagining the whole thing.

Then she spoke and asked me what's happening, and why is her body wet with water . I rushed out and called the student pastor who came running in to witness the first miracle of my life. He was singing praises to God. I knelt down and prayed to God and thanked him for the first time in a very long time . I made her a cup of tea after which she has a shower.

At about 7am in the morning, none of my lodgemates have returned . I looked outside the gate from my room and saw some of them with other people gathered in small groups whispering, waiting to get the full gist of how my girl died in my room .

I called my bike guy to come to the lodge because I want to take her to the hospital for checkup, I then came down to the gate with my girlfriend. As they saw her , they opened their mouth with shock and we're too surprised to talk.

To cut the whole story short . I learnt some valuable lessons . Cohabiting with anybody you are not married is very risky, you wouldn't know the risk until something happens to him or her.
The second lesson I learnt was that, when you get in trouble that's when you will know that you are alone, people will run away from you.

Anyways , we continued dating, but I rented an apartment for her so stay separately. I also stopped her from sleeping in my place. Untill we eventually parted ways after I graduated.
Thank God for you.

It's NOT abuse to reprimand an IDIOT who will NOT let people sleep in peace.

At 4 AM, people are in DEEP sleep. A LOUD noise like a morning crier would feel like something reached inside your head to FORCEFULLY tug your consciousness awake. It's jarring.

There are better ways to reach out to oeople for evangelism. Disturbing their sleep is NOT one of it.
The most annoying part is that these people will never preach in their neighbourhood and they will never preach when their faces will be seen.
That's why they come very early and leave before daylight.
And in their neighbourhood they are never in good terms with their neighbours.

He went on to query the essence of the government reps if they can't provide potable water for the masses.

I'm planning to resign from my full time role tomorrow Monday 5th of August....

This role pays me #300k net alongside data and other few allowances. But over the last couple of months more stuffs have been dump on my table without adequate compensation...

I have tried to have a conversation with the management to further review my take home to match the additional responsibilities but it's failing on deaf ears with no commitment to my request all I get is more work...

I have delayed this to accommodate the fears of friends and family but I do have another hustle that pays me in dollars that actually meets my needs so I'm thinking of leaving this Naira one to focus on that one and use my extra time to prepare for something better......

My resignation letter is ready and I will drop it after our weekly meeting tomorrow morning except a divine intervention stops me....

So my people do you have any words for me? I will that if any......

Your resignation letter is ready what else do you want us to say? But I sense that in your heart of hearts there's this fear probably the fear of the unknown. The only thing I will say is what's the term of your contract (employment letter) I know that most employment letters require employee to give 30 days notice.

If that is the case the president should consider making his speech by 10pm. By so doing his media team is not oblige to giving out the speech before hand. If they disseminate the speech 30 minutes after broadcast it will still make headline the next morning. Moreover many people will be home to view it live.

YINKS89:
Personal experience;

So it happened that my dad sent me to one of his friends office to pick up a file and on getting there the man was not around so the secretary asked me to sit down on the sofa (my greatest undoing)

The man's office is a very big one so they have a separate visitors room where you can just relax while you wait for him. I sat down and slept off while waiting for him but woke up to a sting.

My first thought was maybe it was this normal mosquitoes that flies around so I did not read much to it then the man came attended to me and I went to give my dad his files. Note that I don't stay with my dad so immediately I dropped the file I excused myself and went home to my roomself contain on getting hoke I took off my cloth threw ot on the bed and went to take my shower (2nd mistake).

When I got back I picked up the clothes and put it in the basket unbeknownst to me I already have a foreigner in my room. After about 3 days I started noticing stings but this was different from the normal mosquitoes because I fleet my room at interval. One night it was so much that I had to wake up in the middle of the night to check that was when I stone of them on the wall, I killed it but then I begin to wonder how I got it there.
To cut the story short I discovered that I got it from my dad's friend office the day they decided to dispose off the Cushine in that off due to bug and funmigate then it dawn on me where they came from.

Note that I used a lot of chemicals but they wouldn't leave, sniper ,DD force, baygon even kerosene but alas that said my time is over in that house. Immediately my rent was due I took very few cloths to the dry cleaner got rid of most of my household items by selling it off to get a new one and that was how I got rid of bed bugs.

Those things never die.

If you've ever experienced bed bug invasion share your experience and how you got rid of them.
So when your new location gets infested by bed bugs again you will relocate. (there's a chance for that to happen so don't even rule it out. It's not my portion doesn't apply since you interact with others)

In what was a comical plot twist, an allegedly hired hand to join demonstrations against #endbadgovernance protest began to complain about the hardship on live TV.

The 'anti-protester' lamented about the very high cost of Garri, which is not so before the APC-years, and gave this as the reason for them coming out to air their complaints against the leadership

One of the anti-protesters covered his face with the yellow placard and whispered to him that he was talking nonsense and against the reason they were there for. He was shouted upon and almost attacked by his fellow demonstrators as the camera quickly moved away from the hilarious situation.

Meanwhile, did anyone notice the other dude on the left nodding to what he was saying?

It is clear that pretence cannot be sustained forever as the truth eventually shines through.

In as much as this 10k per yam in the north sounds exaggerating, i have seen 6k own.

Before APC came into power when I was in Minna the Niger state capital, I do buy 5pcs (set) of yam for #300-#800 max.

When I was in Abuja 2017, my sister told me she bought a tuber for #700 and I said she wanted to do me 419. I never imagined a tuber of yam would get to 1k let alone above 5k. All thanks to APC.
True talk. I remember when came to Mokwa for a family member wedding I gave my sister some money to buy yam for me to carry back to my base in Owerri she shouted that the money is to much after much persuasion she collected 2000 after few hours she returned with two barrow pushers each carrying one sack full of yam tubers with some change from which she paid the barrow pushers. This was during Yar'adua term.
I saw a video yesterday the lady was pricing yam and the seller said 1000/tuber I didn't believe it and now this. If a tuber cost that much in the north then no hope.
