Religion / Re: Islamism - The New Global Threat by basharu(m): 1:56pm On May 08, 2006
Hey people! When discussing religious issues here you guys must respect yourselves becsuse these Prophets you give all sorts of stupid names are far better and respected by people who believe and respect their various teachings than all your parents. The issue here is Islam as a global threat and this entails people who makes it seem what certain category of people think it is not about PROPHET MOHAMMED or PROPHET JESUS MAY THIER SOULS REST IN PERFECT PEACE,AMEEN.When someone accuses any of the two prophets of sleeping with an underaged child does not even know or value his own faith. This is a forum where every topic is brought for discussion and we discuss to understand ourselves better not abusing or fighting. It distorts the real essence of the forum and if this should persist,I advise Mr Seon to close issues of this nature as it will only cause discomfort in the society, thanks.
Politics / Re: Political Uprising In Nigeria Justified? by basharu(m): 5:24pm On May 05, 2006
What am saying is this, govt accuses citizens of making trouble when trying to demand for their godgiven rights as in the issue of the Niger Delta region etc.It got to the extent where people like Asari Dokubo and some youth members came out fighting for the course of better life for their people which I think is socially justified.
Religion / Re: Islamism - The New Global Threat by basharu(m): 11:15am On May 04, 2006
Nonny, besides what you have ignorantly written here and the fact that you live in an Islamic environment, did you give it a second thought to know the real teachings of the religion?because intellectuals do study a subject very well before making deductions on a matter. To my understanding, you are just saying your openion which you are entittled to but that does not warrant you to make a calculated damage to the Islamic religion.
Politics / Political Uprising In Nigeria Justified? by basharu(m): 11:24am On May 03, 2006
Over the time by virtures of our political experience, alot of things eg.decissions, policies, strategies etc unfolded, some detrimental to the society and beneficial to the ellit class in the society.

Some of this issues iam trying to bringup may be of good or bad to the nation internationally eg economic policy, administrative failures, restoration of Abuja master plan, the N.D.D.C.third term saga very many of this issues.

When the nddc people felt the long neglect by the government is over bearing they resort to violence which led the government to seeing them as terrorists or saboteurs while in real sence, you,me and the whole world knows they are fighting a just course for the betterment of their society.

So,fellow Nairalanders,in view of the above, let us see and identify the position of the populace/Government in determining the coporate existence of Nigerian entity. What are the boundries to the Authority in policy promulgation for all.
Religion / Re: Islamism - The New Global Threat by basharu(m): 11:57am On May 02, 2006
I dont criticise any religion even if its Idolation Mukeena2 `cos i dont like anybody to do same to Islam.u know it that every good Muslim believe in Jesus as a Massenger of God but its unfair just because foriegn media says this or that against Islam, somebody here without the real knowledge of what really happened, starts saying rubbish about the religion of Allah. If he is sending in topic for discussion,he should talk politely so that he gets positive reaction if his main objective was not to redicule the Muslims. He is not the only christian around,I do have alot of christian friends some of whom Isee as my brothers.

Politics / National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). by basharu(m): 3:40pm On Mar 28, 2006
First of all,i didnt bring this topic 2 redicule d authority but just as a concerned citizen.this agency was created 2 aprehend, identifiy & render assistance 2 d concerned.moreover, situations occured that needs serious attention especially 2 those victims but b4 d agency responds it takes alot of time and sometimes u cant even recognise dia presence.4 instance, d recent situation in lagos where part of a storey building collapsed and a lady was said 2 b inside waiting 4 rescue operation personels 2 rescue her.unfortunately,as of my knowledge,4 good 4(four)days nothing good about her story was heard of,considering d fabulous amount of money depositted 2 d agency.pls i need pple wiz ideas straight fr0m d heart 2 contribute in knowing what d problem looks like, thanks nairalanders!
Religion / Re: Islamism - The New Global Threat by basharu(m): 12:39pm On Mar 21, 2006
u started it wiz hash and unacceptable words.u want 2 discuss and understand those u are discussing wiz then u have 2 talk politely, nubian.i still maintain it :choose ur words!!!!!brows in2 nairaland religious pages so that u get more enlightened!!!
Religion / Re: Islamism - The New Global Threat by basharu(m): 4:24pm On Mar 20, 2006
mr.nubian, remember u are discussing about religion here and this are issues that deserve mutual understandig so u pls b considerate in ur choice of words.most of all dis crisis we have been having previously arent religious totally.pple wiz intrinsic ideas wait 4 d relevant situations, when tension is high in d society they strike and when its high d world sees it as religious(islamic) crisis. These pple can b muslims or nonmuslims and do not care who may b affected, even if its dia relations.so this issue you are talking about should not be blamed on muslims alone.often times, ur so called applauded christian members cause d problem.

Internationally as u have cited Ben Ladens statement as a national threat here, what would b ur comment about Americas occupation in Afghanistan,Iraq and sopme happenings around d world.pls b fair as a decent human bieng.
Religion / Re: Why They Were Taught To Die Fighting? by basharu(m): 12:05pm On Mar 17, 2006
u c mr.collynzo, faith and emotions never go dsame way.many muslims in d society are aggrieved over all these crisis but one thing worthy 2 note is that due 2 personal reasons some of our leaders use this type of opportunity 2 settle scores wiz dia opponents.lets take kaduna for instance, majority of d crisis were fought by area boys from both d muslim and christian sides which led 2 wanton distruction of lives and properties, bussiness areas were looted, innocents were victimised.u can imagine i was in televission area of kaduna town shortly after d fight when a group of area boys smoking hemp narreting stories of how they vandalised igbo traders shops in central market kaduna looting away properties of dia so called igbo christian brothers.and by d,how can an area boy tell me that he is fighting 4 religion when he does not even know d noms, values attatched 2 religion.in islam b4 u go 4 jihad u have 2bear in mind d necessary principles.u dnt touch children, women and old but in dis case, d revers is d case.so pls dnt think they are fighting 4 muslims, just 4 dia selfish intrest.
