Foreign Affairs / Re: Canadian Woman Arrested For Smuggling Cocaine With Fake Baby Bump by bb16: 3:17am On Sep 13, 2013
I am relieved it's not a Nigerian this time. Even though we have much work to do as a people (to actualize our national potential), we are not the global symbol for everything wrong with the world. We are Nigerians, and God bless and direct us.

Religion / Re: What Has Life Taught You So Far? by bb16: 10:03pm On Aug 16, 2012
Life has taught me that things can change in the fraction of a second, either for better or worse. It is left to us to decide which path to take after the change - whether to progress through the situation, or to chicken out and retire to fate.
Properties / Re: Lekki Conservation Centre, Lagos (pictures) by bb16: 5:02am On May 22, 2012
Sisi_Kill: Welcome to the Lagos Consevative Center, My name is Sisi and I will be your guide.

What you see here ladies and gentlemen is the start of the mating call of higher primate. Confined to the wilds of the conservation center, the male primate knows he has limited choices, so he must do everything in his power to get his female mate before she lost to him forever. So he mounts her on a plank, uses his sturdy legs and some other big part of his anatummy to hold her captive. The puckering of the lips shows his willingness to swap spit with her, for the higher primate there no greater show of commitment than this.

It is now up to the female primate to show if she willing to take on what he is offering. . .from the way her hands are firmly planted on the plank, instead of touching him. . .it doesn't seem like it's good news for the male primate. Hope is not lost though, the female primate is well known for her fickle mind, so don't be surprised that the next time you visit the conservation center. . .you are greeted with a sight of mini- primates.

Next stop. . .The Mating Calls for the Pepeyes.

Lol, this is so crutchly etched! Nicely articulated!

Career / Re: When Will Nigerian Lawyers Stop Wearing Wigs, Looking Like Fools To The World? by bb16: 1:01am On May 12, 2012
dayorx: As usual we are quick to condemn what we have got. i think whether or not lawyers retain their wig and gown is a matter for them to decide. i am a lawyer and i think it is prestigious.however some lawyers choose to look scruffy in the attire, i think they r just dirty people because a right thinking person would not wear a dirty gown to court....whether or not we wear the attire it does not change the fact that our laws and our entire criminal justice system needs to be overhauled..
just like when the police uniform was changed it still did not stop them from collecting N20 on our roads

Thank you for this very insightful post smiley

Politics / Re: With His Current Situation, Do You Pity President Jonathan? by bb16: 2:32pm On May 06, 2012
I don't think this should be an issue about empathy. The main thing here is that there is a government that needs to be run. If the person put in power to maintain the machinery of state is incapable so to do, he needs to step down humbly, or risk removal. This is how it should be, we should not begin to smear the issue with emotions or concerns about the feelings of someone who is not doing what he should do. Thus far, what tangible stride can he boast of achieving? I'm racking the corners of my brain to find just one, but I cannot. I am personally not perthurbed by what his feelings are because he is not doing enough to show that he cares about his people. He is a steward, and custodian of the state, upon his inauguration, so he needs to step up to the plate. Thank you.
