Always proof read ur work , mail or post b4 submitting. Now we can't understand ur need so are limited to help you out. If its a student business Visa or business visa ur dad wants first step is to visit the UKBA website and read the requirements, then if not well understood you can now ask qstns which would be more specific then. And when u said 'Call' did u mean invite? As a student in UK , you can't invite your Dad for a business, abi no be so Justwise?

U will get ur visa don't worry. There is still a lot of time, probably next week u will be called. Ur statement of account is okay in excess of 100pound which is an advantage to u.

@hollAdapoo its very true UKBA does not accept ur Waec English as a proff of English proficiency anymore. The only way to escape IELTS or TOEFL is to apply to UK universities that would access ur English lang by themselves and include on ur CAS that they r satisfied with ur English and have awarded u a B2 English grade. If not IELtS is the way.

Quickly register for IELTS academic, its easy and u can practise online by urself @ home. I think there's a module coming up on thE 22nd of July. It would take abt 13 days for the result to be out, so start all other visa preparations now.so u meet up with sept resumption.UKBA does not recognis our WAEC English again that's why TOE is required by most schools now.

Just wise Thanks for the response u gave to my other enquiry the other day. Pls I hv been Told by som1 that after printing my statement on the 29th day I should still not withdraw from the account. That I have to leave both the bal fee and living expense intact in my accnt until the visa is out. Pls how true is this and is it mandatory ? I borrowed all my living expense from a society and need to pay it back after 28 days.

My qstn is I got a scholarship worth 4000P from uni of brighton, they hv equally Stated it on my CAS. I hv the bal fee and cost of livin in my accnt and wish to apply for visa this Aug agaisnt sept 30. Now my passprt has 3 names, but my WAEC , trAnscrpt and Certicate carry just two names. Do I need to swear an affidavit for that?
Secondly. I hv a 2yr visitin visa which I did not use cos last year I tot I wuld travel to canada for school but was denied the visa. Would it affect me negativly?

I also hv a 2 year visa (visitin/) which I didn't not use due to financial constraints. I also was denied a school permit by canada last year december. No I am yet to apply for visa and yes I have received an ATAS clearance for Pet Engr Msc in Teesside though I don't think I will take up tht course. Please anyone with inside scoop of life in middlesex?

@babyshamU need an ATAS clearance for most engr or chemistry course or u won't get a visa, apply now cos it takes about 3weeks or more , its a simple process u need a jacs code supplied to you by ur choice school. Its usually on the admission letter. Leeds is a good school th ough expensive. ATAS certifies that u won't use the knowlegde obtained for terrorism. All the best

Hello , this IELTS and TOEFL requirement all lies with the school you have applied to. Once ur school is Okay with your WAEC, the UKBA won't harass you. This is what our min of Foreign affairs and Education should also be addressing. Its now easier for Ghanians to travel to UK for study than Nigerians!

@Skinny J, its okay, I was just trying to be patriotic, anyway its damn too early for you to be applying for 2014/2015 autumn session, you do really have to wait till at least Dec 2013. Admissions for this autumn are just getting into serious gear.

@miss sweety86 last year i tried for Canada visa and failed, i do not want to take chances with switzerland again, if it takes 3 months to get a Visa it may also mean that all the money in my account statement would have to remain there for that same duration till the visa is out just like Canada wanted. Am a pure Niaja babe, leaving that kind of money ie 21000chf idle in an account is 'unholy', but UK is just straight forward and on clear terms. I applied to the Earth science dept for an Msc, i have not actually received my admission letter but i know it will soon be out immediately they get my transcripts which is already on the way.
