Question  ??

how does non indigenes equate into the ruling ?
Is the presiding judge a non indigene ?

I have a muslim friend and he is one of the nicest people i have met in my life, so i find it difficult to reconcile the ideaology of the general muslims and their killing mentality.

All these reports is making me develop a questionable feeling and have a rethink about my muslim friends and their believe.

will share my experience and lesson learnt.

i have a mentor where i work, he has been in the system for 10yrs and i just got hired then, he helped me settled in and kind of be on the look out for me concerning my career path and other office bureaucracy. One day i mentioned my pay to him and bam the next day his comments became very inflammatory and his attitude isn't very warm any more. thou i was wise not to tell him the exact amount it didn't help issues.

2ND episode

I got promoted last month , 2steps ahead of my colleague and now he is raising hell that i didn't tell him about it right from onset, he is not talking to me now.

I'm yet to understand why i owe him that line of story , his argument is since he is my friend ( not boyfriend oh ) i would've told him right from onset.

The only smooth relationship i have in the office now is with a female friend of mine and i guess its because i have not told her any thing. my family members don't take No as an answer or later now concerning their demands just because i shared my goodnews with them.

Lesson learnt
Say less to people, friends, family members, colleagues, church members, pastors etc,

@bebe4u

Another lesson could be 'do not take what you are not ready to give'
Friendship demands, once you start to receive help and support from someone, it automatically places some demands on you too, that is why the guy expected that you would at least tell him you were promoted.

@shinatu,
please note, there are two different people i am makin reference to, with different reactions to different situations. and i believe we have choice of what we want to give out of the lot we have.

We still have some pastors that are real.

They must be a very small minority then.

after i moved from port harcourt to lagos, i was still paying my tithe to my church in port harcourt. till my pastor said your tithe should be paid to your local assembly, meaning i should pay my tithe to the new church .

Now that is what i refer to a man of God not the ones that cajole & hypnotise you to bring your pay all in the name of giving and seed sowing.

Politics / Re: Vp Jonathan's Life In Danger by bebe4u(f): 1:26pm On Jan 18, 2010
VICE-President Goodluck Jonathan has been subjected to great discomfort in the last four weeks, as events are attesting to this, Nigerian Tribune investigations have revealed.

Since the clamour by Nigerians that Vice-President Jonathan should act as president has been intensified following the continued absence of President Umaru Yar’Adua, who is thought to be currently recupperating in a Saudi Arabian hospital, the vice-president is reportedly prone to attacks in the Villa, according to Nigerian Tribune source.

One of such attempts against the number two citizen was through food poisoning, which sources said the vice-president himself had taken note of and therefore refrained himself from taking food and drinks served in the State House.

Nigerian Tribune also gathered that events in the last four weeks in the Villa suggest that there is more to the threat to the life of Vice-President Jonathan. The latest remote or near incident, according to sources, indicated that a top company which manages Aso Rock, is this time orchestrating the plan.

For instance, sources said the entire Presidential Villa was thrown into darkness on Tuesday night, when the vice-president was billed to host members of the Diplomatic Corps in Aguda House.

The incident was so dramatic that even the envoys were quite stunned. Sources said that as soon as the diplomats began to trickle in, the Villa was, without warning, plunged into darkness for close to one hour.

The confused ambassadors, it was gathered, were seen huddling together, wondering if the Presidential Villa had no standby generator, or if there was something sinister about it.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that, when power was finally restored, the central public address system failed to work, causing the vice-president’s aides to run helter-skelter for remedy.

The Nigerian Tribune gathered that it was not the first time such an incident had happened. Sources said that in December 2009, during the Christmas Carol night hosted by the vice-president, the Villa was similarly thrown into darkness, causing a similar scare.

“And when power was eventually restored, the air conditioners were deliberately shut down. Over 100 guests had to endure the suffocating heat of the banquet hall during the event, but dramatically, the air conditioners began to work again as soon as the event ended,” the source said.

It was learnt that mobile phones are programmed not to work in the Presidential Villa, leaving the principals and staff with no choice but to use the telephone lines run by the company.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that situation had become so bad that the company is being fingered in an effort to sabotage the vice-president’s activities in the Villa. During the week, Jonathan was said to have issued a query to the company over recent happenings.

The role of the top company said to be managing the Villa was also said to be another “instrument” being used to sabotage the efforts of Vice-President Jonathan or cause him discomfort.

The Nigerian Tribune learnt that given its vantage position, the company holds sway over virtually all activities in the Villa. It was gathered that its access to every part of the villa is unrestricted.

Sources said: “The company has unfettered access to the vice-president’s offices and the innermost recesses of his living quarters. They control the telephones, so they can have access to the vice-president’s conversation, and they run the internet services, so they have access to private e-mails through the web portal.”

It was gathered that this company is being used to monitor the vice president’s activities, while sources said that “they do this by shutting down facilities like electricity and water at such hours in sections of Aguda House and when they are inevitably invited to check what has gone wrong, they are able to pinpoint where the vice-president is and when.”

"THE COMPANY' sounds like something out of "PRISON BREAK".

Politics / Re: SW Governors Declare 3 Day Fasting For Yaradua by bebe4u(f): 1:06pm On Dec 10, 2009
According to a three-point communiqué read by the Ekiti State governor, Mr. Segun Oni, the gathering also set up a committee of three traditional rulers, with the Olowo of Owo, Oba Victor Olateru-Olagbegi, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe; and the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Oba Oladele Olasore, as members. The committee was mandated to consult with all traditional rulers in Yorubaland on the need for every member of the race to work towards the unity of Yorubaland.

The meeting canvassed for a situation where the region would speak without divergent view on major national issues.

A committee of governors, led by Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola of Osun State, was also set up and mandated to hold further consultations with different groups within the political class with a opinion to resolving identified differences.

Speaking on the resolutions of the meeting, Governor Oni said, “the meeting stated emphatically that the entire Yorubaland should support the president, Alhaji Umaru Yar’Adua, with prayers.

MZAMBO is my my favorite housemate now. she was my least liked in the house, but how she got to my top list i dont know. Last night she reminded me of Amy Winehouse with the mic in one hand Booze in another.

I have this strange feeling Nkenna will survive sunday, and then will go on complete onslaught of nigeria with her stories.

Did anybody listen to the conversation between Itai, Eddie & offcourse the narrator Nkenna how she is going to diss her young lover at the airport when she arrives Nigeria because of her would be celebrity status. Hoe celebrities in Nigeria misuse concert and occasion passes given to them.

Certainly there will be a lot of people waiting to have their pound of flesh from her when she arrives, ie if the SSS don't whisk her away mid air .

That girl needs to be x-rayed for a lot of things
