In abj they expressly told us not to search for or use the on screen calculator in the system that if you are caught automatic disqualification, my friend who wrote in Lagos said they announced that they can use the onscreen calculator

Yeah...they announced that we can use the on-screen calculator, but I did not see any on my screen sha.

In summary, I did mine in Lagos, and I didn't use any on-screen calculator.

Graduate Engineer. As at 2019, it was about 36M.

Wow...

I am speechless.

haftob:

should be almost x4.5 based on current calculations

Is this amount for graduate trainee or senior position?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Exxonmobil Graduate Engineer Trainee by BetterKola: 2:39pm On Mar 18
Weany:

70M gross
Just compare with other companies and also factor in Job Security. It’s huge money but less security

For graduate trainee or for Managerial position?

This EM opportunity should be 3x times that for GT at least but more inclined to think it would be 4x or 5x given inflationary pressures.

This is mouth watering ooo...lol

Lol .. funny response, but there is no need to state your current salary.

Anyways, since the deed has been done. It would be nice to state your current employer.
Business / Re: CBN Insists Banks Can’t Pay Dividends From FX Revaluation Gains by BetterKola: 7:23pm On Mar 15
fawaz050:

Your last question is what CBN is trying to resolve. It's saying

1. Reclassify your foreign exchange gains during the year as part of other reserves.

2. In a year where you make loss on foreign exchange movements (rare for banks), reclassify it back to P or L to write down or [if possible] write off the foreign exchange loss.

This scenario is more like the revaluation method under IAS 16.

It's a good in my opinion. It will partially discourage banks from excessively hoarding USD to drive up rates, thereby resulting in exorbitant gains for them.

Exactly.... CBN is definitely using methodology of revaluation gain or loss in this circular.

Thanks for the response. The word "most" gives some form of hope depending on how one looks at it. There's still the possibility that some persons will get offers this year since all positions are not filled yet. Thanks once again.🙏

No gree for anybody.

So long they have NYSC at the time of the test, they should be fine

It seems they are recruiting only engineers this time.

What about Science course like computer science and bio-chemistry?

Nothing to back it up. No real tangible information on the waitlist story. It's all speculation from the best of my understanding.

Oh.... thank you very much. Wishing you a happy holiday and a prosperous 2024.

Nigeria to supply LNG to South Africa when NLNG is producing below capacity due to shortage of feed gas. SMH shocked

Lol...we still import gas too.

I get your point, but you did not consider the fact that we majorly consume butane while we export propane.

This move might just be a means of capturing Africa market.

...I do not think anybody will be willing to share the screenshot. I know moving might be hard but I think there are still other dream jobs out for us to grab.

At this point, it costs us nothing to hope even if it seems like the chance of getting a waitlist call is slimmer.

Thank you Chairman. Pardon my inquisitiveness, can a renowned company like NLNG do such mistake.

The phrase "at this time" has meaning you know. Well, thank you once more, I have taken your advice in good fate.

No.

Two types of regret was shared for the GT. There was a slight difference in the wordings.

One set of the regret mail has "at this time" while the other do not have.
