No, i'm not an Engineer. I'm a Technician because i ve never engineered anything before, but i fix and repair very well.

Its great to here that you are a TECHNICIAN. You will need to go to a University to study Engineering follow through the modules to become a pupil Engineer. Your efforts for another 4years will qualify you to go for a COREN registration and if you are able to PASS then you become a registered Engineer in NIGERIA. That will cost you another **yrs .

Untill then. , You may not know What it means to be an ENGINEER in NIGERIA. Its not that the ENGINEERING profession is free of challenges But those challenges are the common type that affects different areas in the Country's economy.

You are one of those Nigerians dat get inferior and freaking deceived at a white man's ability. Some of these guys i have worked with has got nothing better than you. Nigerians are all over the world doing greatly in Engineering. My brother So instead of downgrading your self to be a TECHNICIAN why not try and invent something and stop maintenace-fix or repair as you said you do.

The Government is BAD, Our Educational sector is dropping in standard everyday BUT what are we doing ourselves to improve. ASK YOURSELF SOME QUESTIONS, Speak for yourself alone and dont say woo about Nigeria Engineers.

There is a clear diffrence between an engineer, a technologist, a technician and a craftmen. For the fact that some Craftmen( auotmechanic,electrician,or even welders) regard themselves as ENGINEERS doesn't make them one. There is a body COREN that regulates Engineering Profession in Nigeria and till today they renew yearly the list of registered Engineers. So if you doubt the competency of any Engineer you can confirm with them.

the true fact is that if der is public transport preaching in ervy bus there would av bin world war 3 n it would av started in a bus.we av to learn aw to tolerate one another and be not biased in our tinking.

It's nuisance to preach loudly in the bus.
It's heartbreaking for mosques to disturbs peoples' eardrum 5 times in a day( especially in the morning).
It's sad for churches to harass people with loudspeakers on Sundays.
It's ignorance for people to convert play grounds to praying grounds.

The only way to avoid these nuisance is to have an effective civil and criminal laws in this failed state.
But until then, the poster which seems to be pot should learn not to call kettle black.

Thank you for the MOLUE . Preaching has grown pass inside molue alone. They preach in all buses both small or Big. You can not receive a call in a bus no matter how important. I am not condemning xtians or christainity But the act of disturbing and saying foul about other pples belief.


I have been invited to several programmes by my christain friends which i honour without any hesitation BUT the day i invited my friends to a programme in the mosque THEM no show up. It taught me to always be contempted with my religion and we all have dis average belief and our friendship goes without any religious bias. I will still insist that it is not untill there is a police or court of law order before our brothers and sisters in the lord and Imams will stop this barbaric art in our buses. THANK GOD for there is nothing of such in the newly introduced BRT buses in LAGOS , if not the comfort associated with the initiative of the visioner of the BRT project may have been defeated.

Fellow Nigerians let us respect ourselves and others, let us be Law abiding and let us practice our religion without disturbing the peace of others.

Banks now get the best of all fields to work on the streets as MARKETERS.

Ask what consulting Quantity survey firms , Mechanical &Electrical engineers firms, ARCHI, etc pay their staff! you will be amazed. Peanuts! meanwhile there colleagues @ banks, finance houses etc go home with fortunes.

Nigeria ENGINEERs not been competent as required is not the problem of the engineers. But the problem of the GOVERNMENT and the regulating bodies.
