A new word has been added to the Dictionary."KAITA" A man who single handedly hindered the hopes of his country for reasons best known to him. "Kaita" can be use in place of words like Jeopardy, Hinder, Sabotage, Disrupt, Antagonist, fool etc. Examples are Don't kaita what we have been building for 11 yrs in one day. Don't be a Kaita, thats Kaitastrophic e.t.c.

Romance / Re: How Do You Overcome Temptation? by binigurl07: 9:28pm On Jun 15, 2010
3 things u shud do

1)Grab ur bible and pray ( remember Jesus Christ resisted the devil himself)
2)Send her packing with immediate effect
3)wait till ur wifes gets home but if you really need a housemaid ,look for a God fearing person (even tho its a houseboy)

Be careful, some housemaids have a goal : destroyin' ones marriage

Stay blessed

yesterday the game was tough tho ,Super eagles tried
but Messi and Maradonna play football like they  use juju or somefin' ,i mean they are soo scary on the field ,
THE MISTAKE they made was by not putting Obafemi and Odenwingie in the 1rst round
if not for Enyeama ,Argentina wud have beat us 10-0 square ,i mean they are too strong
But i trust Naija ,nothin' do us , we will beat each team as from now on !

Somebody shout Halleluyah!  cool

What the hell do you mean by 'them'? So if some doctors were careless in your grandmother's case, that means all doctors are bad and you should remain angry at all of them?

Where else were they going to feed his through? His arse? How did the mother know the food was not digesting? Since when did a swollen stomach become a 100% unimpeachable sign of failure to digest food?
More importantly, why take the explanation of a layperson as cardinal truth? I visited a doctor friend of mine during my NYSC. The fellow was serving in a clinic in a village. The villagers started reporting him to the head of the clinic as a bad doctor. Why? Because he refused to prescribe Injections and Drip all the time, while the villagers insisted that he had to give them injection to make them feel better.
Long story short, he started giving people a simple Saline solution drip ( as a mere placebo) and the patients were happy. If one of the villagers came here to Nairaland to complain, you'd be the first to start blaming doctors.

If DaGrin's death affects you, please start a campaign against drunk driivng in Nigeria. That way you'd actually be doing something useful.
i meant the doctors who treated her ,and i specifically said there are good and bad doctors
patients can fed tru drips
if to u i lack common sense ,then so be it
and if was in Nigeria, which am not, i would be asking adults like you to at least try and write a petition to the government or whatever pple think is needed to change situations in Nigeria
so i have nothin' else to say on this case
all i did was express my opinion, as this is an open forum, but you, sir, change it to somefin' else ,like i was accusin' all doctors for my grandmom's (a woman i never got to know well,some1 i always talk with tru phone and was hopin' to see this year) and Dagrin's death, when i said those i meant those doctors that didnt treat them well , in case of dagrins mother ,i wudnt be sayin' that she lied , she's mourning her sons death , even tho what she explaned might not seem correct as it is ,but a patient having a swollen stomach after coma ,is not good sign
as i earlier on said if to u i lack common sense and maturity ,then so be it
i 've nothin' else to say on this case

@ binigurl07, Grand mom ke?
Nigerians, Y do we like putting blame on other people
Healthcare is bad-- YES, even Yar'Adua knew that but wat have your leaders done??
that the same question i've been asking myself

Yes, everyone should exercise the right of free speech, but it's really really brainless of you to start whaling in on the doctors based on the words of a bereaved layman.
There's no indication that the doctors or nurses are in anyway culpable, people like you, freshera and binigurl that are jumping to (probably) unfounded conclusions are the ones who should ask yourselves if your positions are logical.

We may never know whether the doctors did the best they could. but how strange that you're attacking Tudor for speaking confidently on the only thing we're sure of: DaGrin was drunk that night, driving at high speed on that narrow road in Mushin. He could have hit and killed someone as many drunk drivers have done in the past. Luckily, that didn't happen.

Nigerians are always afraid to speak the truth, but if you really want to make DaGrin's death count for something, use his sad end as a rallying point to speak against drunk driving. Stop railing at overworked and underpaid Doctors and Nurses. That's just plain silly.
i am notjudgin' anyone ,all am sayin' is that healthcare system in Nigeria is not all that good
i lost my grandmom
because of this
so i think i've right to be angry at them for not doin' well
ok,supposedly Dagrin was drunk on that night ,why would nurses want to feed him tru the mouth after waking up from a coma ?  that is somethin' i never seen any hospital in Europe do , so i'm not attackin'  anybody, all am sayin' is that if those nurses didn't know what to do,they cud have transferred him to a better hospital ,besides not all doctors are the same ,some are good some are bad ,but as the case may be Nigeria is populary known for not having a good healthcare system
besides no 1 really knows what happened that night, some say he was drunk ,others say he was hit by a truck
only God Almighty knows what happened.True talk that driving drunk is a very silly ,immature and bad thing to do, that doenst mean  that we youths are allegedly going to  start drinking ,MOST  of us have the oppurtinity to have good and Godfearing parents who instruct and tell us the right things to do , and some of us choose to obey them.  As u said every1 one has the right to exercice their speech, but there are  times when things really hurt or affect you,and you just feel like pouring out you're mind, That doesn't make some1 brainless but a victim of grief.Pls,i mean no disrespect
