SELFWORTH: Poster @Timijo. Please where would you find a human being that will do all these in any marriage? African marriages are notoriously one sided. I can't think of any woman or especially Nigerian man that can do all these . It's either some of the above or none of the above . Every marriage is unique and requires different skills. We are dealing with human beings here not Robots.

...so if an Anambra lady marries a man from say Ekiti state...she forfeits her state and adopts her husbands state?...i beg i dont think so...their kids yes but not the lady...haba what happens to her identity..cant she at least retain her fathers state at least?..

My own worry is on woman dat after marriage dont change their median name but add their husband's name at the end, e.g Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala, Okonjo here is her father's name and Iweala, her husbands name... Any suggestion pls
